The question is did they send it out to die? Outside of the bitter fanboys who don't want to game to succeed because its not on their preferred console claiming it failed we don't know that it did. In fact I would go as far to guess its meet MS and CD's projections. The reason I say that is because they have analysts who all they do is predict games sales relative to other games releasing at the same time.

The game was super good. My ONLY complaint is that there was too much crap to find.
I have to say I'm most excited for Halo Wars because Creative Assembly is making it. Alien Isolation was my favorite game of 2015 (play it if you haven't you wont be disappointed) and I think those guys are super talented and I cant wait to see what they can do with that game.
I have to be honest. I hate MGS 5. I've beat every other mainline game (nothing on vita) at least 3 times each and loved every second of it. But 5 was just so repetitive, bland and plain boring. Don't get me started on Mother base. yikes.
I just don't understand how the game got a 10 from so many places. The gameplay was flawless no doubt. But after going to the SAME area for the 10th time to do the SAME thing I was like "I'm out"

You do realize that these companies employ people that have families right? So maybe you should take a min and think about that before you speak.
A game flopping could mean the end for the studio and then you wont have to worry about any game competing against Fallout and COD.
You better hope Sony doesn't think that way or might bite them in the butt!

Let me give you an example of why people get mad (this is just one example and works both ways)
N4G has had several articles about how RoTR is doing sales wise. The comment sections are full of people claiming its a flop. Here's the issue; they don't have any idea what they're talking about for several reasons:
- They don't actually know the total physical sales
- They also don't know the sales predictions/expectations

Its not about being mad at a great console doing great. Its the fact that people think its the whole point. Anytime a new game (or cool feature/positive article/etc)comes out on the X1 for example the immediate response is "oh well it wont help them beat the PS4 because its selling way more".
Ok while that's undeniable, what does that get you? Instead of being salty (which that 100% is what that is) you could just say; "man that would be cool to play"...
