Ive been thinking about picking this up. I prefer SP games, but have read its far better as a co-op game. Is that true? Would those who have played the original game recommend getting both?
Could you elaborate as the what ways MS dropped the ball? Now please don't mention things that the X1 has fixed. For example; don't say DRM. As that's not part of the system.
I love my X1 as do millions of people. I own both the X1 and PS4 and the PS4 is only for its exclusives.
The X1 doesn't have JRPG games with half naked girls is no great loss.

The PS3 saw 3 big official price reductions in less than a year. In the end you could buy either console for the same money.

He is basing his conclusion on a beta build of the game, and when he says "that" console he implies the other console does infact hold a stable rate. Which we have no evidence of. The PS4 has had as many issues with FR as the X1.

I'm a miser so I lean towards your sentiment. That said apparently this thing is worth every penny. Its nice to see a product that at least worth it if not practically so.
On the 15th I can download Deus Ex BC. I no longer own the game and haven't for years. That is FREE.

What I'm comparing is DLC, some of which are 10+ hours worth of content, to games that came out 20 years ago. some of which are less than 10 hours of gameplay.
Its a reasonable comparison.
I don't understand. Anytime ANY developer charges for something (DLC, gear, skins, guns, etc) people are in an uproar talking about boycotting these money hatting developers.
Now here we have Sony doing it and people are saying how ok it is and how much they understand. In not to long of a time I have a feeling someone will thank Sony for charging money for things. lol

Im playing the GoW Ultimate Edition. Its crazy I haven't played the first gears since 2006 and it stands up against any new AAA game launched today. Its production values are just that high.
I play a few matches a week and never fail to find ones with good competition. So I would say it's was/is/and will continue to be a success.
I cant comment as to whether or not that is true but I have watched a few DF videos that show frame drops on the X1 and not on the PS4. The issue is that the graph at the bottom of both shows the same dips but the frame counter doesn't change on the PS4 version. Maybe the graph means nothing I don't know but it was pretty weird.
