Its really funny to me performance and hardware matter to the PS4 faithful SOOO much even though the difference is very small when compared to the X1. But when PC gets brought up the PS4 faithful say Hardware is not that big of a deal lol
@BadZ
See you like to quote numbers so what do you think about these;
The PS brand lost 50+ million sales to a console that was only on its second version. It did this with the best blu ray available, a backlog of games that were the best in the industry, and a "loyal" fanbase.
HAHA you cats and your moving goal posts. Enjoy the victory in your head.
Absolutely hilarious!
Taking sales out of the conversation for just a second, how is the PS4 "wiping the floor with the X1"?
@DCboy
First of all the PS4 and X1 are priced the same. Facts, are a funny thing.
Sony had FAR more to worry about than the $600 price point and head start of the X360. The PS4 was inline with price within 12 months, and a head start stops no one from buying another console. A lack of a killer app does. That was its biggest issue.
The PS3 was the slowest selling because the X360 was Johnny on the spot with games, features, and a far superior ...
You're right its all timing. I have beat The Witcher 2 several times and its all about rhythm and patience.
What does that matter? In 3 generations against more and stiffer competition than either the PS1 or 2 EVER faced MS and the Xbox brand have become a video game powerhouse right up there with the PS brand.
The PS3 was only the slowest selling console because it had real competition in the X360 which it had never faced from the likes of Nintendo or Sega. The Xbox 360 dethroned a brand that sold 130 million consoles the previous generation and ended in a basic tie with the PS3....
God I hope so. I love Xcom. I remember the first time a party member died that I named one of my friends I was like "oh man, that really sucks"
Please come to console!!!
have you ever played an Xcom game? They're some of the best highest quality games available. Have fun with CoD at 4k. Id rather play this at 720p than most games out today.
When I start a game I finish it, for the most part. Though several times over the past few years I have started games and stopped because I don't like them (Killzone 4,Fallout 4, MGS) and as I get older I have less time for games and less time to play games that I deem as just ok.
But I put 175 hours into The Witcher 3 so Ill play for ever if its that level of quality.
@magnes
Yeah giving greedy corporations money that don't create anything really teaches CD a lesson! Wait what's that? Yet another developer closes and GameStop reports best earning ever. Thanks Magnes and friends!
But remember when the X1 version of the first one launched the system was still holding 20%(I think that's the amount) of the systems power for Kinect hence the difference. RoTR is an amazing looking game and is probably too much for either console to do 60
Dude just get over it the PS4 and X1 aren't as powerful as we all hoped. Buy a PC because if you're trying to say the game would have looked much better on PS4 only or as the lead. You really are wearing a tinfoil hat lmao.
The x360 was cheap to make wher as the X1 isn't. So it can't close the gap when the margin is considerably smaller. Remember they're talking $$$ not consoles sold.
The money has never nor most likely will ever be made on the consoles sold. The real money is in games and XBL purchase (movies, games, skins, maps, etc)

@tHE_iNFECTED
You have to remember that this build that we are going to play over the next few days could be as much as a few months old. They rarely use the latest builds in the beta as they are less stable.
@neckbeard
You sir know your history. Good use of the world Pled, though most may not know what that means.
@Kreank12
They said within days of the announcements that it would come to PC in early 2016.
@EZZ
Physical sales aren't more crucial as all sales matter equally. An argument can be made that digital sales are more crucial to a developer as they cant be traded in to the likes of Gamestop. Meaning developers don't miss out on profit.
Digital has seen huge strides this gen.
