I would be surprised if 99 has any idea what's going on in the world of PS4. I mean he spends all his time in X1 articles he cant have enough time to keep up with both.

Now THIS Eonjay is lying. What MS did yesterday with their advertisement was just advertising that couldn't negatively affect anyone. This can/will/probably has.

Its advertising. My gosh you guys you don't even have to come into these articles to know that its full of people trying to bash the X1. Not ONE article about anything related to the X1 isn't filled with a bunch of vitriol from the people who don't like the console. Why waste the energy to comment. Go to the PS4 or PC articles have fun there. This video doesn't change anything in gaming its just advertising.
I'm super skeptical about VR. I just cant see this being a thing I would want to use every day like I do with my traditional consoles. The idea of putting something over my eyes and closing myself off from the world seems so alien to me.

At least its not 10 articles talking about how MS and Xbox might as well close up show now that Sony is 6 months away from launching VR which pretty much no one has ever used, and definitely for an extended period of time.

I know this guys comment is going to get marked as trolling but the people saying they have a hard time playing games that aren't 1080p or 60 fps, and can tell "instantly" when a game is not have never owned a gaming PC, and have only played on consoles (which begs the questions how they survived last gen). That's why they pump their chests. Its like a guy who lifts a couple days a week telling body builders how super duper strong he is. lol

There is zero difference. Money for advertising behind the scenes, and money for advertising out in the open, both equal $$$.
If anything I would argue that doing it out in the open is less of a scandal.

I don't think it has anything to do with his comment. IF you go back a few weeks and see what the fans of one console had to say about the closure of LH you would see why people would be passive aggressive about this news.
The two threads I have read about this topic have been very peaceful full of support with little to no trolling. Yet again going back a few weeks the same could not be said. People were attacking MS for closing a studio.

Because it doesn't matter. MS and remedy are focusing on what 95% of gamers care about, gameplay and story. The Order is a perfect example of spending to many resources on graphics. PS4 supporters can boast The Order is one of the best looking games available. The issue is the general gaming public says; "so what, its not that fun, with a mediocre story".
Remedy in 12 years made 2 Max Paynes, AW, and QB. All considered fantastic. Who car...
The only people resolution matters to are the trolls. Anyone who was already going to play QB is still going to play it 720p or not. Its by far one of the best looking games this gen. On top of the fact its made by a developer that's one of the best making games today.
IF it mattered so much you would see a massive amount of canceled pre-orders.
