i agree that reason is bs. i agree its most likely a time saving exercise
its the sort of game that sells to a system with a large established user base. its not the sort of game that sells systems.
so although it is a great asset to wii u, i dont think it will help it shift consoles.

i was planning on buying a wii u when this game came out. but i still wont. one game just isnt enough. that sonic game looks good. wind waker hd will be good. and also x. they all need to be out.
so it looks like i wont be getting a wii u well into next year.
so now they will release another version of pikmin 3 in a years time that will make the original retail version obsolete. i hate dlc. just sell us the entire game and keep the extra content for sequels!

i know there is such thing as an exchange rate. all im saying is that this offer is not the same as the wii u being 225 dollars in the usa. to appreciate how good a price it is, you would imagine its 149 dollars.
255 pounds into dollars would be 385.13 US Dollars. but its pointless figuring out the exchange rate because for some bizarre reason the console manufacturers dont consider the currency differences. if they release a 300 dollar console in america, it will be release...

has nintendo even made a true hd game yet? because it seems the games it has released for wiiu seem to be wii games only now upscaled to 1080. thats not hd in my opinion.
that is the same as upscaling a dvd and saying its a hd experience. its not.

yes, i am aware of those games- i own them all. they are all amazing. but they are not new types of games, they are merely rpgs. they are new ips, not new types of games.
when nintendo talks about new types of games, you know they are referring to games which take advantage of the wiiu's second screen. lets be honest, what they are talking about is gimmicky games.
