Bruh.... If a last gen game can't run on consoles at 60fps, it'll be a shame
What's the point when you are limited to 120 fps anyway :/
That too in indie games. In most AAA games it'll just be 60.
Sure the PC will cost more, but I would prefer the freedom of a PC than the limited nature of a console.
Clickbaity. This is more like removed features that might have broken the game/too tough to bake into the game. You wanna know cut content? How about Activision selling red dot sights for 2$
Two shitty titles, no way are they dominating. They haven't made a good game since R6S.
Ubisoft knows jack shit about optimization.
High end CPUs are required to run their shitty games at 60fps. So I dont think GPU will be the limiting factor.
Bruh.... We don't need challenge in games.... We don't need games themselves.....
How AAA industry works.... Drive a franchise into stinking poop. Then bring back superficial elements of its prime time and voila, sheep be spending money on a crap product. This one looks just as much visual diarrhea as the last 2.
It is not influential I would say, because it never got as popular as some hard hitting franchises (5 million vs 10-15mil). Many developers aren't really going to take inspiration from such a game because:
1. Very few (I would argue, like 0.000001% of the populace) can write a story like that
2. It won't sell according to the shareholders.
But is definitely a medium defining piece of art. It definitely plays to the strength of games as a ...
Not a supporter of this game, but it still does look and feel like a next-gen game. Not to metnion, its scope is bigger than anything else out there. Yeah, it has wayyyyy too many shortcomings, but good content creators have made content on this game saying, it ain't all bad.
And as someone said, it's not just about the looks (Which is still does better than any game I have seen), but the systems behind it that impress me more.
Godfall feels a lot like God of War.... The enemy health bars look similar, the shield animates and behaves similar, the super fun (/s) "Use circle to jump" is definitely there, the character soft locks to enemies, the environment design also looks similar.... Wew
The only difference here is that the camera is better, for an action game. Still looks bland though.
Consoles performing feats 5 years too late (?)
That's like every FIFA since 2013
Apparently, Division 3 is launching next with DLSS like implementation from AMD. That's what I have heard from my sources. Don't take my word for it.
I mean the internal reward, not the acievement and other bs.
nothing you do in life matters.
Tell me something new.
GTFO with this bullshit lol
I wanna see someone defend "It is really rewarding finishing hard games"
This is just stupid seeing only one side getting defended because it serves the interest of the lowest common denominator.
All these people doubting a PS4/Xbox One purchase.
Meanwhile, I am building a new PC just for Cyberpunk 2077. I don't care about other AAA games like CoD or AC or WD or whatever Ubisoft, EA, Activision is dishing out, but the hardware upgrade is going to be worth it just for Cyberpunk 2077. Funnily enough, the last time I bought a PC was when Witcher 3 came out. While it will still be able to play Cyberpunk on similar settings, I feel that my PC is due an upgrade. 5 yea...
I have so many problems with this article
I understand the frustration over the mission selection being locked to characters. But the whole complaint about mastery? You have the Bloody Palace for that.
As for the part about Dante being overpowered, well at some point in the 5 games he is supposed to get more powerful (?). That's a proper narrative arc. If an underdog is always an underdog there is no progression.
The part about transitioning ...
Cinematic storytelling.... Bleh (In games I mean)
Witcher 3, Nier Automata and Persona 5
