After 3, it really should be.
They stayed true to the formula that made the original games so unique. It really does feel like an actual sequel to STALKER.
The only mediocre games Obsidian ever put out were Dungeon Siege 3 and Alpha Protocol; and even Alpha Protocol did a number of things very, very well and is now considered a cult classic.
Definitely my most anticipated at the moment, now that STALKER 2 is out. Love the Pillars universe and have been a fan of almost everything Obsidian has put out over the years. The game looks better and better every time they show it.
So why don't you just buy a PC when you think buying a PS5, a PS5 Pro, and a PS6 is not ridiculous in just a handful of years?
PS6 isn't 4 years down the road.
Why would you want both? I don't want a monthly subscription service to sell me back games I owned when I was ten.
I also own a PS4 Pro. I loved it. An amazing console, for what it is.
Didn't buy a PS5. Didn't double-dip and get a PS5 Pro.
I feel bad for console only owners going forward. Your tribalism is taking affect.

It's an expansion that's large than most game. I don't see much of an issue here.
