Buying stocks won't do anything.
It's as if Doom 3 and Resident Evil 4 had a baby.
My bet is that Intel will use "Project Offset" to showcase Larrabee.
So I guess this means that DX10 in Vista will be as fast as DX9 in XP.
It's very different from your typical RTS. It's sort of like the Galactic Civilizations or Civ games, but in real-time. It's really addictive, with many games lasting several hours. I'd highly recommend it if you have a lot of free time.
:(
Stage6 was an amazing video site. Instead of having crappy low-quality video, they had high-quality video that looked incredible.
That was awesome.
What.
Sage
Bullshots.
Um, the 8 series is 1.5 years old.
AP made a mistake. I'm pretty sure by 1.2 gigabytes per second, they mean 1.2 gigabytes of total bandwidth. Bandwidth for individual users is usually measured in gigabits.
Vista uses prefetching to cache RAM. It's not memory intensive, it's just making use of your RAM. There's no reason in having 2GB if you're not going to use it.
Oh, and Ubisoft have been putting out some pathetic PC ports recently. Rainbow Six: Vegas and Splinter Cell: Double Agent were incredibly buggy and resource intensive, and Assassin's Creed looks like it'll be the same.
Wow, that's impressive. And here I was thinking it was a sleeper hit.
Congrats to GSC for creating an incredible game. I'm really looking forward to Clear Sky.
Unreal Tournament 3 as well.
The video clearly states "Realtime. Like no other."
the Steam game overlay works fine on my Games for Windows games. I don't own any GFW-Live games because they all suck, but I expect them to work with the overlay as well.
And Universe at War: Earth Assault, a Games for Windows-Live game, is available for purchase through Steam, so GFW-Live will work with Steam.
I agree with most of the list.
I would've put Resistance 2 and Left 4 Dead somewhere on the list, though ( and put StarCraft 2 higher up on the list :) ).
Third-person? Open world?
What the hell.
Guild Wars 2 is going to be great.
I played a ton of Prophecies.
