Some repetition is better than others.
This game has to be able to be run on a wide number of computes.
Play with friends. The experience becomes infinitely more enjoyable. I'd say it's as awesome a game as Team Fortress 2, though it'd be nice if the player limit were raised to something like 8. (But I'm sure some modders will do that shortly after the game releases).
Both versions look great, but the PC version obviously has the technical edge. The dynamic shadows are more refined, the textures are sharper, and the availability of anisotropic filtering and anti-aliasing make things look better.
I saw a video of it. There was a huge amount of people.
lol, the PC was the lead platform. But, despite that, they still managed to royally f' up the game.
The radar definitely needs to be nerfed. A T3 omni radar is way too useful.
Definitely get it for PC. The mods are already rolling in and the game hasn't even been released yet.
There are a bunch of easter eggs in L4D. :D
In the demo alone, you can see TF2 cereal, Scout pills, a Counter-Strike reference, and Dr. Breen.
I think it'll sell quite well. Pre-orders for it are well above what they had for The Orange Box.
Counter-Strike gun sounds. D:
They did notice the issues before release through player feedback from the beta. So, using that data, they fixed those issues and released a day zero patch for the game.
No, three systems.
Wii has nothing good coming out.
Garry's Mod.
More like a year or two before Valve purchased them.
And people say Valve are making it now because Turtle Rock is now known as Valve. Internally, they are Valve South as they are based in Irvine, CA while Valve is in Bellevue, WA.
Did you play on Expert?
And if Expert is still too easy, there's a config somewhere on the SteamPowered forums that makes the game extremely difficult.

Well, that's where the biggest market is. Their console MMOs are coming, but the PC is the largest market and will make them the most money. They just need to release an MMO worth paying for.
Like Crysis, Supreme Commander was a little ahead of what current hardware could do at the time. SupCom had individual AI for each unit and every projectile had its own physics simulation. When playing over the Internet, all this data caused the game speed to slow down if the connections weren't fast enough.
Hopefully with SupCom 2, they aren't too ambitious with the technical side of things.
I don't think it would work well on gamepads. Have you played the Dreamcast version?
That external 750GB hard drive is tempting.
