Build 6081 was distributed to the press and I believe is available on MSDN. A leak was inevitable and I'm sure Microsoft knew it.
There's a co-op mode and a versus mode.
In co-op, there are 4 survivor players and you play through the movie maps, which contain "boss" zombies.
In versus, there are 4 survivor players as well as 4 zombie players who play as one of the boss zombies. This mode is also played on the movie maps.
Personally, I score out of Pineapple.
7 out of Pineapple being the lowest and Horseshoe out of Pineapple being the highest.
I agree. GameSpot have gotten a lot better.
Didn't Game Informer give the first Resistance a 9.5 out of 10?
Mirror's Edge got pushed back to December on the PC for extra "polishing."
I just read some Core i7 reviews and, wow, this chip is a beast.
This will definitely be going in my computer when I build a new one probably by summer of 2009.
Want.
This isn't a fanboy.
It's Digital Foundry, a professional HD game capture solutions company.
Why would they show a 5-6 month old build if the game is gold?
What's with these graphics?
They're... not that good. :/
Isn't Gears of War 2 supposed to be the Xbox 360's graphical tour de force?
I like me some hexagonal breasts.
This is awesome.

Because everybody who's played the game has come away extremely impressed might be a reason.
And I've been told that the game looks a whole lot better in person. The graphics should never be a problem unless they're unacceptably ugly, however, and Left 4 Dead certainly does not fit into that category.
People are already making ideas.
I read a concept for a level that was set in a football stadium. It sounded pretty cool. The finale would be in the center of the stadium where zombies would swarm you from all sides.
I'm getting it for PC too since all my friends and family are getting it for PC.
@xaphanze
No it isn't. GameSpot posted the Xbox 360 review two weeks ago, but this review links to the review for the PC version. A review for the PS3 version was released at the same time. The reason for the lateness in the review is because they were not given review copies for those versions in a timely manner.
I thought the game had some promise and actually looked pretty okay when it was first revealed.
This is build 6081, not the build with all the fancy features that they showed off. A new build is supposed to be released to the public in January 2009, I believe.
