Lol, I love the disagreement on a fact. Both games are timed exclusives. So they'll be on Xbox in a few months.

The next to games ARE Not PS5 exclusives. They're only exclusive for a few months.
They released a ton of great games last year, Ori, wasteland, Crusader Kings, flight Sim, tell me why...several this year already, more soon with crossfire x and Mechwarrior. They're just announced releasing 20 indie games this year too. Oh, and all Bethesda titles going forward. All obsidian titles. All InExile games...
You should read the licenses when you "buy" physical games. Spoiler, you don't own them.
I'm not a PC gamer but downloaed Crusader Kings 3 cause it was in GamePass and am hooked. Also use Xcloud to play Slay the Spire or games like that when not in front of a TV.
Microsoft doesn't report on hardware sales, so no one actually knows how many they sell. They're selling 100% made, just like PS5 right now. Those sites reporting sales number for MS use some very fun and creative math for their projections to make-up their numbers
"most of the games in GamePass have been on PSNow"
That's simply not true and the PS Now and GamePass are not even remotely similar services.
The model for launching games on GamePass isn't always MS backing up a truck of money either. If you bother you can find MD talking about several different ways they pay developers.
GamePass was an great value when it launched a few years ago, now it's insane for most not to have it. I was going to buy this, now I just get it!
Makes sense to me. I've played more games than ever since GamePass and play games I'd never have given a second look before too. If I love the game, happy to buy dlc for it later.
Didn't read the article did you. The Xbox Network refers to the network that backends everything. Xbox Live Gold is still the service you pay to access online games on it (except free tk play games which don't need Xbox live).
The world isn't interested in VR yet, it's a very niche product that isn't ready yet. IMO it never will be. Putting on a headset that blocks out the world around you and the limitations of movement due to motion sickness are too big of hurdles to overcome for it to be a mass market success.
Because Microsoft views the PC as part of the Xbox Platform. They don't care if you play on your Xbox with GamePass or buying games, or playing on your windows pc via GamePass or buying the games, or streaming on a tablet or phone from GamePass Ultimate... it's all different ways to play Xbox.
Why are you so against GamePass. It's an insane value for gamers. Why pay $60+ for a game when you can get all the games $10-15 a month? If you're an avid gamer it's an incredible deal. If you play COD and 1 other game per year only, then sure, not a money saver.
@RgR and @CaptainHenry916.
NEW games come to GamePass all the time now, and all the Zenimax studio games will now too. GamePass is already profitable for Xbox (I'm too lazy to fund the interview when Spencer said that).
Xbox Gold is already a part of GamePass Ultimate. So for $15 a month I get GamePass, Xcloud, GamePass PC (Crusader Kings 3 is great), and Xbox Gold. That's $180 a year, or the price of 3 new games. I've already downloaded and ...
GamePass is already profitable.
I find articles like this hilarious since MS doesn't report in hardware sales, including Xbox.
I've had it disconnect (and reconnect a few seconds later no problem) twice since I got my Series X on launch day. Doesn't seem like a major issue but obviously glad they're working on it.
@utopiancat
LOL on Google Docs being best in class haha. Next you'll say Google sheets is better than Excel. As for Gmail...it was best in class in the early 2000s, now it's the same as the rest and a bit of a hot mess. If you work for a living, Outlook is light years ahead of Gmail.
I couldn't disagree more with streaming needing to die. First, I can't think of a logical reason people would wish a new technology and option to go away. Second, it's really useful and fun. Was on vacation, storm hit and we were stuck indoors, was awesome to kill some time on my tablet with real game, not mobile crap, on Xcloud. I'll also play Slay the Spire on my tablet sometimes if I want to be in the same room as my wife, but don't want to watch what she is.
I just turned the hub to minimal at the start and then off once I got familiar... Like all games.
