From my understanding, anyone who buys Gears of War Ultimate Edition before Dec 31st will also be able to download all the other games via BC when it launches this fall.
I've heard 2 is the amazing...really anxious to play through it.
It was thrilling from start to finish. And if anyone who buys Gears of War Ultimate Edition before December 31st is entitled to all the original games this Fall via backwards compatibility!
Sure is, just came out today!
Very little in terms of spoilers (if any), but I don't blame you, I pretty much do the same thing when I check out a review; I quickly skim over the story stuff and head for performance and overall score.
This game was such a blast to play considering how old the game is, I give major props to Coalition for it's efforts. It was my first time playing a Gears game, and I'm super excited to play Gears of War 4 now. I'm even considering downloading the backwards compatible version of GoW2 when it becomes available this fall; I've heard that's the best one. This was an engaging and intense thrill ride and I strongly recommend it to anyone who may have missed it last gen.
I love alternate takes on history, and the noir aesthetic here looks really really good. Like the reviewer said, the only downside is waiting for the rest of the series to be released. With all the games coming out this fall, I may just wait until all the episodes are released and then have a Blues and Bullets weekend marathon during the winter. Looking forward to playing this at some point!
I'm so excited for this next installment. Game appears be coming along very well!
I'm totally cool with NX going all-digital as long as I'm given more than 32GB of internal HD space! External HDD support is welcome, but lets pretend not all games are 2GB or less!
I'm going with Rockband, but will consider GH shortly after launch
Oh, you mean by September 1st? Good luck with that! :) In all seriousness, if most gamers can look past the slow movement speed and take in the beauty of the setting and the rich story, there's an excellent experience to be had here.
The control scheme described in the video reminds me a lot of Kick & Fennick on the PlayStation Vita, which was an awesome game. Might have to check this out
The delay on the Vita version was a bummer, but if it means it'll bring the same quality and engaging gameplay as the PS4 version into the palm of my hands, I'm totally fine with waiting. I just hope it's not too long!
I really love the premise of the game, and it can get pretty intense the further you progress through the areas. It runs and looks good on the PlayStation 4, but I honestly believe Volume will find its niche on the PlayStation Vita. It's perfect for on-the-go gaming, and it won't get lost among all the big AAA games that will be flooding my PlayStation 4 over the next 4 months. I can't wait for this to drop on the Vita because I'll have more time to play it when I'm not at...
I wish some of these "walking simulator" games would add more substance to their games! A lot of them are beautiful looking games, but as we know, beauty is only skin deep. Shoddy stories, pacing issues, and lousy controls really bring these games down hard and fast. Games like The Vanishing of Ethan Carter and Everybody's Gone To The Rapture, even though those are slow-moving adventure games as well, at least they have the substance to keep you engaged instead of checking your ...
Only $1.99? At the price my expectations will be low enough that it'll be near impossible for this game to disappoint! Plus, beating Nazi's down is always a good time.
I'm still waiting (foolishly) for a PlayStation 4 version of H-Hour: Worlds Elite...but that game is in shambles on PC, so my experience with Kickstarter, though limited, has been crappy. Lets hope Bloodstained lives up to the hype!
I haven't played this yet, but the trailer for this game and the developers upcoming game (The Little Red Lie) are incredibly dark and moody. I don't know if the typical gamer would enjoy these games, but they sound extremely through provoking. I'm interested to see how well these types of games resonate with gamers.
OMG, I completely forgot about that feature! I didn't even think to use it, and like you implied, "winning" that way just feels empty. I'll just stick with practicing. No disagree from this dude! You speak the truth, gangsta!
Yeah, that was most impressive. I can see that game and Horizon: Zero Dawn going head to head next holiday (if Horizon isn't delayed to 2017)! Epic match up! #MechDinosVsDragons
I don't know what it is about the wall-running in this game, but it's incredibly satisfying jumping from one wall to another, and landing behind an unsuspecting camper and putting one in the back of their dome! I really want to play more of this, in fact, I'm now downloading it on to my Xbox One. Thankfully, with all the games launching between now and Nov. 6th, the wait won't be as bad.
