Since I picked this game up on Tuesday, I've been playing it non-stop on my PlayStation Vita. There is so much awesome nostalgia and 80's culture satire going on it's glorious. I'm sure there will be many gamers that won't appreciate what Mighty Rabbit Studios has done here, but I for one absolutely love this game. The combat is surprisingly deep as and the additional side quests and hidden items make this a steal at $9.99. Plus, it's got a platinum trophy?! Totally ra...

If you have a GTX 970 or higher, you'll be in awe of this games visuals at a high framerate. It's a looker for sure.

Those were my thoughts exactly. I had to go back to our article to see if we made any comments along the lines of "The PC version is soooo much better than your precious console version", but alas, no such thing was present. I'm a proud console gamer, and I'm embarrassed for my fellow console gamers who are so insecure about a PC post that they must chime in about their console version as if this were a comparison piece. Oh well, that's gamers for ya!

I was actually blown away by how good this game looks on PC, with some of the big set pieces looking incredible thanks to a higher framerate. Overall, very beautiful game

Hmmm, when it comes to point and click adventure games, there definitely needs to be interesting characters and an engaging plot. Still, for $9.99, I may look into this. I really dig that steampunk aesthetic. Gonna flip a coin for this one....heads or tails?

Even though everything we've heard to this point is rumor; the more we hear about this thing, the more you can sort or piece together what it could be. I wouldn't say I was hugely disappointed with the Wii U - my expectations were pretty low when I picked one up - but I'm really excited about the opportunity that Nintendo has here to start fresh with the NX. Strong online features (achievements, friends system from 2006, etc), focus on third-party support, and the typically strong...

It really does, and during the stream we spoke to the developer, and they mentioned they are in the process of mastering all the tracks and it should be available to purchase at some point. So that rocks!

I was pretty intrigued by this game when the PlayStation Blog posted about it, but after seeing it in action, I'm definitely going to pick this up. The soundtrack is pretty good and it looks to play pretty well, which is especially key for platformer. Glad to hear this will be making its way to the PlayStation Vita as well at some point. Cool looking game.

Hitman: I don't mind a AAA-game going episodic like I do the Telltale games. Telltale games can be played through but then you have to wait weeks (or months) for the next episode. Where as with Hitman, there will be plenty of missions to carry out until each expansion is released, based on how they've described the game. It's definitely a first time for a AAA-game, and there's a lot at stake here. As a huge fan of the Hitman series, I'm excited to see where this plan takes...

I'm right there with you; I had my list just about finalized and over to editing when they announced Scalebound was delayed. I'm really looking forward to that one

I'm not sure how much of an impact the Oculus Rift pricing will have on PlayStation VR, but it'll be interesting to see how Sony responds. I just hope, first and foremost, that VR Gaming is able to win over gamers, regardless of the price. The only way this goes anywhere is if it offers the experience many gamers are hoping it does. If any of these companies banking on VR fails to deliver anything less than a sensational experience, theres a possibility it could create a negative stig...

I can't wait to get my hands on this game. It reviewed very well on PC and it appears it has made the jump to consoles rather seamless. I can't get over how beautiful the games art style is and the appeal of affecting the outcome of the story with the choices you make is always something I enjoy. Really hope we don't have to wait too long for the Vita port because this is the type of game I'd love to have on the go.

I don't know what it was about Mafia II, but I didn't enjoy that game at all. Really hoping Mafia III is able to keep my attention longer. I definitely like what I've seen of the era and the characters in this one. Looks promising

I'm super excited for Scalebou....oh wait :-/

In all seriousness though, this is a great list. There are so many great games slated for 2016, I'm beginning to worry that I won't have time to play them all...much like 2015...and 2014...and 2013...

Gamers will have plenty to play once again and I couldn't be more excited!

I love Axiom Verge, and it really does have one of the best soundtracks in gaming. I enjoyed what I had played on PS4, but like the author says, I really think this game will be at home on the PS Vita. Still amazing to think this whole game was created by ONE person. Kudos to Tom Happ for single-handedly delivering one of the best games of the year!

The beta was a sh*tshow, and that's more than likely what scared away a lot of possible sales.

I'm with you bud. Despite the matchmaking issues that still exist (though not as bad now), lack of a cooperative campaign (which Situation #11 proves would've been awesome), and shoddy visuals, I still love the experience the game has to offer when it's working as intended. I want this game to be successful so we get all the content it needs in 2016 to stay relevant. There really isn't another shooter like it on consoles right now and Ubisoft needs to acknowledge that and do w...

It absolutely does, especially from its publisher. I understand that Assassin's Creed and Far Cry are the big sellers for Ubisoft, but that doesn't mean Rainbow Six is second rate. If they set a higher standard for this franchise, I really do believe this could be something that could challenge the big dogs much more effectively. I understand the "Lone-Wolf" mentality of Call of Duty will always be appealing to those types of players; some people really believe their KDR is ...
