I never played Grim Fandango back in the day, but I sure am glad I can play it on my PlayStation Vita because it's the perfect game to play in short bursts because some of those puzzles will drive you to the brink of madness! I love what I've played so far but have a long ways to go, and it doesn't help that Broken Age is sitting on the horizon!

First and foremost..."**** YEAH! So happy that Kojima is free from those pricks from Konami, maybe now they will wither and die...oh wait, they're are posting job listings for a "New Metal Gear"...LMFAO...that' s cute

Secondly: What a year for gaming, such a vast variety of great games; a solid mixture of sequels and new IP's. I just hope I can find time to play them all and see most of them through to the end, because 2016 doesn't appear to be ...

I have legitimate fears that I may never complete The Witcher 3, ever...I'm still working through Fallout 4 and Xenoblade Chronicles X, and thats when I'm not playing Rainbow Six Siege multiplayer. I'd say January is the only time I'll be able to even consider investing a lot of time into The Witcher 3 because 2016 starts off with a strong February slate of games.

I honestly don't think the NPD is bad for the Tomb Raider franchise itself, but you have to wonder how much Microsoft offered Square Enix back before anyone knew the type of success the PS4 have. I'm sure Microsoft wasn't cheap in terms of what they offered, but I'm sure Square probably would've had a slightly higher number in mind had they known they'd be neglecting 30m+ PS4 owners at the time of launch. That being said, there's no disputing that the Tomb Raider f...

@xPhearR3dx

I think it's a testament to the games concept in formula, that despite the games technical issues that currently keep it down, I'm willing to deal with them just to get that golden experience when it is working and I'm playing with a team that uses mics. People helping people is a powerful feeling, and when you conquer as a team in a game like Rainbow Six Siege, it's fricking awesome. I really hope Ubisoft Montreal is able to patch this game up qui...

I'm a huge fan of tactical shooters, always have been, and I honestly feel games like Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon don't get the recognition they deserve because of the bigger shooter titles out there. It's far easier for someone to jump into a run-and-gun game with a lone-wolf mentality than it is to take up a new game that requires you to slow things down and actually think about what you're doing. Everyone wants that quick fix that the other mindless shooters offer up and th...

The sound design is definitely a strong suit, and this stream won't do it much justice. This is one that you really need a surround sound systems or headphones to appreciate just how damn creepy the environments are. The audio work complements the level design very well. It creates a constant unnerving feeling, which is exactly what these types of games need in order to set the mood.

Honestly, for me, I thought Geoff Keighley nuking Konami was the highlight of The Game Awards. Can Konami just go bankrupt now and dissolve into nothing now? Their petty antics and piss-poor treatment of employees should conjure up just enough bad karma for them to completely collapse.

I had a blast playing Just Cause 2, so I'm expecting this to be more of the same with better visuals and sound. I'm not too concerned with the games story, I'm more interested in creating the biggest 'splosions possible. If the game chugs along, well, I guess I'll just chalk that up as poor optimization and continue to blow things ups. I think the Just Cause games are aimed at a certain audience, and I think that audience (myself included) will eat this up...hopefully.

I guess there is a point where there is "too much of a good thing". I haven't even come close to finishing Bloodborne or Witcher 3. I'm pretty deep into Fallout 4 but still so far away. I have no clue if I'll even be able to commit any time to Just Cause 3 until later next year. Thankfully, I was able to play through Dying Light, and I really liked it a lot. There was definitely no shortage of games that require a ton of time to complete. Great year for gaming!

Ori and the Blind Forest is incredibly fun and challenging. If you dig metroivania style games, you'll be right at home.

All I know is I'm currently jealous of everyone who's playing Rise of the Tomb Raider. As soon as I finish Fallout 4, I'm all over it!

I was really disappointed with the Rainbow Six Siege Season Pass, even though the writing was kind of already on the wall when they announced all the maps and modes would be free to all uses (which I agree with, keep the community connected). However, I joked that the season pass would probably included additional Situations that players could play through but now that I know just how weak this season pass is, I would've been thrilled about additional Situations! I still hope this game is...

You're absolutely right, this type of AI is probably a little ways off, but can you imagine how much more fun and involving games will be? I can't wait to see what the future holds for gaming

I would love to have more sophisticated AI in all video games, not just open world. I want a game that features enemies that use real tactics as opposed to jumping cover to cover out on the open with no regard for life. I want my actions to impact the game both short-term and long-term, which requires me to think more when I make decisions. I love that, and I think that makes certain games more immersive than others. There's no reason this type of feature can't be present in other gam...

I'd want the Thriller dance from Destiny, because I can't dance worth a damn, so if buying that also meant I'd "learn" the dance in real life as well, I'd be quite happy with that!

That's pretty much how I am with it. I suck something awful, but I just keep going back to it. It's kind of like golf...when you have one good round, it's enough to bring you back over and over and over again.

There are some days where I will blow as gasket when I'm playing online. I have a pretty intense competitive side to me, and even though I've been playing Call of Duty for years, I'm still no where near the upper echelon of players. I will have some really good games, but when I string together a few piss poor performance and suffer beatdowns at the hands of a talented squad, my blood boils. But once I've chilled out, I just accept that I don't have as much time as I wish ...

343 crushed it in my opinion. I'm a pretty big fan of just about anything sci-fi related, and Halo 5's awesome set designs and overall aesthetic definitely rubbed me the right way. I really can't wait to go through it all over again on Legendary difficulty.

I'm not going to lie, I went into Syndicate with very little in terms of expectations. I played Unity for about 2 hours when it first launched and I gave up on it permanently. It's my understanding that after all the patches it's actually a pretty decent game, but with all the games that came out this year, I had zero interest going back to it. Thankfully, from what I have played of Syndicate so far, it has been a much better experience. I really dig Jacob and Evie so far, much mo...

Outlast scared the living hell out of me. It's pacing was perfect, and the unnerving atmosphere created a tension throughout the entire game, setting you up perfectly for the big scares. The DLC was OK, but the base game itself was brilliant. Hopefully Red Barrels can take the sequel to new heights and keep the originals DNA in place. I'm pretty confident this one will ruin my sleeping habits for a week or two next fall!
