It's not that I love MS... It's that I like Sony less.

It's all just double entendre... handling... package...

but thanks for the... heads up! 😉

Eonjay, enlighten us, if it's so obvious. What facts can you present to corroborate your statement?

Why did Sony release the Pro last year if they are dominating the entire industry? Sony certainly could have waited until this year or even next year without compromising their marketshare but jumped the gun with a machine that has to fake 4K gaming and can't play UHD Blu Ray instead. The Switch is a threat to Sony in places like Japan where PS4 has no competition ...

Shipping in gaming? I hope proper handling is included in the transaction too... I don't want my package to get damaged.

@ Nix. I can't play most Japanese games. I've tried to play them many times over the years but they're just not my style most of the time. Honestly, RE:Code Veronica was the last Japanese game I liked. That said, I think Xbox needs the diversity if they want to attract more customers, so if they want to sell better then bring on the Japanese games, MS. I may even find one or two that I do enjoy!

The mindset of Xbox gamers would change if there were Japanese...

Yeah, Aenea's right, It's too early unless MS is going to release VR in spring of 2018, which I doubt.

I think MS is going to have a really strong show that will compete with Sony very well. I can't say if MS will have more games than Sony, or that they will have bettter games either, only that they will show more games than many will expect to see. Some of them will release in the fall in spite of their unveiling at E3 2017, because MS has been working on a f...

Or porn games on the PC.

Speaking of focusing on important aspects, notice how in the picture for the article Ryder seems to be well positioned to "play catch"?

Subtle, but I see what they did there!

They claimed that they lost money last year because no new HW came out...

What are PSVR and PS Pro considered then, and why is GS so excited for Scorpio this year? They're making no sense... either all three are new HW or none of them are.

This article is about PC having the biggest exclusives market, not about which console has more. You're kind of off topic by focusing solely on consoles, and you're forgetting one huge detail in the process...

UWP can leverage the PC market to easily bring its' exclusives over to the Xbox. People tend to lose focus on MS and its' Play Anywhere initiative. UWP is a two way street, putting Xbox onto PC and PC onto Xbox. If Xbox can leverage the PC games in...

Wow, really?

You'd think they would have at least stolen a well written article, instead of one that made them look stupid. Well, dumber than just plagerism does, anyways....

Lol. I didn't jump on the bandwagon, I am the bandwagon. I've always maintained that VR in general is going to fail like Wii, Kinect, And Move. At most, it will end up successful like a steering wheel accessory for driving games. Maybe in 10 years or so things will be different, but these 1st gen devices are so primitive they're barely passable, and are currently more akin to a big screen 3DTV than real, interactive VR.

Seriously, if you want to defend PSVR ...

Let me dumb it down for ya...

• XB360 is Power PC. XB1 is X86. There's the first hint they're not the same architecture.
• XB360 has 3 3.2ghz cores. XB1 has 8 1.75ghz cores. The cores in XB1 aren't fast enough individually, and they can't simply be combined in parallel to make 4 3.5ghz cores. It's not that simple.
• It's widely known that emulation requires using a system with an average of 10x the original spec of the machine ...

Fine, don't look at the 5:00 mark, dumbass. It's not always, " pretty much the same"...

I already said under most circumstances it just looks blurry compared to native 4K(pretty much the same), and that side by side comparisons were they only way to tell the difference. It's the same difference as 900p vs. 1080p, but that didn't stop Ponies like you from defending your superior resolution for 4 fucking years like it was the end of the Xbox foreve...

So by common sense, you mean no evidence exists? Got it. You're just defending and pretending that MS had this vision of a subscription service, not the other way around.

You honestly believe a 3 core cpu is remotely the same architecture as an 8 core cpu? Every Tech website that commented on the subject of BC on XB1/PS4 contradicts you. They all said BC was impossible on either console because they were too different form last gen and their cpu's were too weak. ...

@ Sciurus

The removal of eSRAM has more to do with the die area it takes up than with it's heat production or bandwidth.

So, to recap the author:

It's cool to see with depth perception.
It makes him sick.
Vr is just experiences (shovelware/demos) with no must play AAA games.
It's the way of the future???

The current problems devs are facing is with making money off of VR experiences and with making experiences instead of AAA games. The high cost of entry limiting install base isn't helping either. Let's see what E3 brings to th...

MS had plans to make BC a subscription plan? Never heard that one before. All I ever remember hearing was that neither PS4 or XB1 could even support BC, yet one of the two was clearly capable in spite of all the tech websites stating otherwise.

Yeah, MS actually planned from the beginning for Scorpio to maintain compatibility with XB1 titles too.

3371d ago 11 agree2 disagreeView comment

That's not true. It's just like 900p has to be compared to 1080p side by side to really see the difference. The difference is always there, but it's not noticeable enough to be seen without a direct comparison. Only a fool would try to deny the obvious difference in the side by side comaprisons. What is the point of a comparison if it can't be trusted to show a difference? How could a comparison make only one of the systems look worse? When has anyone ever argued that XB...
