Angelic, change is important if it happens. It's true that MS needed to keep up with 1st party software during the 360 days... but they didn't. Now all of you guys who desperately want MS to have more games are moving the goal posts, again, to say that MS shouldn't change now because it's not a good time?
It's clear that Scorpio is the beginning of something new for MS, so it is a "good time". They know that HW alone won't do much, and...
Future is bright for vr?
Delusional, but keep waiting because I'm sure the checks in the mail too...
Seriously, there was just an article posted up here last week that said that nearly all VR developers aren't even making up their development costs, that the devices are still too expensive, and there's not much besides shovelware to play.
I agree with their assessment. It's a downwards spiral, really:

Gamez, when is a Pony ever smart? People have to be objective to be smart, otherwise they're just ignorant.
They lost most of them by the middle of last gen, actually.
Walking Dead S2? Niiiice!
Kaneki, we're talking about E3 2017. Where Spencer says there will be more games releasing this year than last year, that there's unannounced IP to show, that Scorpio may be revealed before E3 to make room for games, SMH. Look at all your stupid Ponies agreeing with you too, when you don't mention any games like Quantum Break, Recore, Killer Instinct, Ryse, Ori, etc., and act like an ignorant fool in all other capacites...
Andrew, we're talking about MS ch...
E3 is the show... this is the talk... any questions?
Gt, they kind of did that already... when they said there would be more exclusives releasing this year than last year. FYI, they've been working on unannounced titles since at least last year around E3.
@ Stuna
Because there's never been a gap of only 3 years between HW models before. The Pro releasing so soon sets a new precedent, and if it's successful it will cause more iterations to release more quickly.
It's the nature of the beast, really... it happened with paid DLC going from a few games to nearly all of them simply because consumers consumed the product. Same thing will happen with iterative consoles, digital sales, etc.
It's a mythical action adventure game... does that mean the game doesn't exist?
Yeah, but don't feel bad about it. When Pachter is "right," he's Captain Obvious right.
How many people have access to Netflix, like the whole planet? That's a few more than 25 million if my assessment is correct. Even if it's a mega-hit with PC gamers, it won't have nearly the same size demographic to offer it's services to.
It's like comparing the NFL to pee-wee football... it's not the same league.
Naruga, MS and Sony both play all their games off the HDD, regardless of if it's physical or digital. They are both desensitising us to the notion of installs. Having a physical disc is just one extra step that doesn't need to be there anymore.
If you think you can speak for Sony, then you're saying that Sony will grow stubborn like Nintendo and do things out of arrogance, in spite of paradigm changes now occurring to content delivery? How'd that work ou...
I'm starting to advocate digital more and more as the generation goes on. The downloads are linked to your account so you can't lose them, I don't ever sell my games anyways, and my collection doesn't take up physical space. I don't even need to get up to switch software. Now all we need is for companies to start renting games directly from the console so I don't have to buy/return used games from Gamestop to see if they're worth purchasing.

Exclusive to VR. We don't know yet how MS may use some of the tech available to get low powered computers to run in VR. Tech like Oculus developed for Rift and that of MS' own Irides adaptive software both have potential, and may even be able to be combined since Irides is cloud-powered.
Speculation aside, E3 is going to reveal more... can't wait!
You mean how buggy their games are on PS. They run much better on MS consoles, which is why Fallout 4 VR will be on MS' VR solution.
The problem is that their best isn't very good anymore, and they're pleasing significantly less people than they used to.
They already hinted at Mech Assault, said it would be interesting to revisit Crimson Skies someday, and liscensed Blinx to the senior editor of IGN.
It's not hard to imagine them digging into the vault and getting old IP back in play.
The difference is that Just Cause 1&2 were playable games. Just Cause 3 is broken in too many ways they can't/won't fix.
So GT Sport is GT7: Prologue...
There are 70 million netflix subscribers. There are 25 million XB1 users to market Game Pass to. Game Pass cannot replicate the success of Netflix unless 300% of all XB1 users subscribe.
