COD is like a Zombie, getting worse all the time yet never dying like it should.
I hope it's better than an ill-tempered sea bass... 😉
I think there's a new IP from 343 this year, GOW4 next year, and Halo 6 in 2019. I know it's just speculation on my part, but to me that type of scenario would be a good thing. Was it bad when Naughty Dog made Last of Us instead of another Uncharted? I say let the studios breathe a bit and make something new.
Comparing a game that doesn't push Cryengine, doesn't have many options for PC customization, and doesn't even have that much difference even between the Pro and PS4 versions?
I don't even know what else to say other than WTF.
Final Fantasy 14 runs on its' own servers (Play Online), not Sony's.
Phantom Dust 2 would be a great announcement for E3!!! Only a few more weeks uutil we find out what's going on over in the MS camp... I'm super excited for all 3 companies this year though.
Quit dragging your feet and play it yourself!
I need a ridiculously robust SP/MP map editor. Ubi has some catching up to do if they want to compete with Forge again. I'm excited to see what they've been up to though, because Far Cry essentially took a year off when they reskinned Far Cry 4 as Primal.
Yeah, it seems pretty simple to me. If the game is multiplatform, then it will easliy look best on Scorpio. Unless the Pro can compete with a GTX1080 too...
Just a Sony business decision. Fixed. The developers all admit that Sony's shot down every company who wants their games to run cross console with XB1. The only thing Sony supports is crossplay with PC. MS will allow crossplay with PS4 or PC though.
If Platinum is one of the few studios who could have done it, then why didn't they suceed? Sounds like it's better off in anybody elses hands at this point.
As far as self-defeating arguments go... you must be an expert by now, huh. That's why you made a pointless statement about a topic you care little about.
@ above comment
Far Cry is another series that doesn't corrolate from game to game. Perhaps Prey is adopting a similar approach too? I like the Far Cry series, for the most part, but its' common theme doesn't involve the same protagonist, antagonist, or story.
Yeah, it wasn't that great, but I still liked it better than Dishonored.
Devs are too focused on pleasing every demographic rather than making an interesting game to play. I thought Prey 2 was going to be better, but I don't really have much faith in Arkane anymore since I didn't enjoy Dishonored or Dishonored 2 either.
Well said, Mr. Pumblechook.
A perfect example of what happens when a company has no competition is Madden after they bought the rights to the NFL for the 2006 season. EA sat on their butts and did virtually nothing to improve it for years because they didn't have to. What other choice did consumers have?
Competition is always a good thing, even if it is a gap as large as a 2:1 margin.
That 1/12 scale model sits at around 14 to 15 inches (360 -390cm) long, which is just huge for a model in a collector's edition... but yeah, it's kind of expensive to me too.
Dear Microsoft, you need more 1st party studios. Please keep the studio behind Hitman, Freedom Fighters, Kane & Lynch, and Mini Ninjas alive. They tell really good stories and have unique gameplay ideas.

Game Pass is a service PC gamers may be willing to pay for.
I was thinking the same about a Phantom Dust sequel announcement at E3.
The idea is worth continuing, just not when the former developer didn't give a 💩 about it. The real question is why did the director of Platinum "resign" after failing to finish Scalebound?
