Both MS and Sony were in development of mid gen well before the one day head start MS got on Sony with their announcement.
Is there another way to start a rumor?
Conversely, look at LA Noire.
King, MS says that they're talking about vr in 2018 so, no, MS does not have VR now. I do think that some of sony's space is due to VR needing a larger play area, but obviously they've got more games studios and more games.
We'll have to see why MS chose to put themselves in such good company this year too. They've got a lot of good 3rd party publishers nearby this year...
Here's what I don't get about the article.
Sega went bankrupt because of the mistakes they made by separating their market with both the Sega CD and the 32X, plus making the Saturn notoriously difficlut to program for. Sega was 600 million in debt whe the Dreamcast was launched and the system was wildly successful. unfortunately, Sega was too far in debt by the time their debt required repayment and chose to go software only by selling off the HW facility (etc.). ...

Lol, I can't see any way to pronounce it other than Jidge every time I read the title!
I am the law!
It only functions once a month, and only for a few days at a time. 😆
Have I ever told you the definition of insanity?
No, it doesn't, but here's what I think.
1. Games.
2. Make it useful for people with 1080p sets too.
3. Games.
4. Price it competitively with Pro.
5. Games.
6. Graphics that showcase the power inside.
7. Games.
Did I mention that MS should continue to focus on games? Personally, I think they are, but only time will tell if they continue to push game development to the top of their priorities l...

Genesis does what Nintendon't!!!
Blast Processing.
Man, the old days were awesome...
They're much more stable than any of the other big Japanese devs these days. Konami, Capcom, even SE are all making some really bad mistakes with their businesses.
Brave Losers, I said that, and what happened when Scorpio was revealed? They revealed that DX12 HW is baked into the XB1 just like it is in Scorpio. The performance gain you mention is for draw calls specifically (it was Brad Wardell who said it just before the NDA's shut him up), and 500-600% increase in draw call efficiency will easily be gained when using DX12 to make XB1 games that support Scorpio. MS said during the Scorpio demo that they were reducing CPU workloads by as much as 5...
Quit teasing the Quarians... you'll hurt their feelings.
Summons, Moldy isn't asking for an explanation of how to use a controller to play games. He's asking about the technical limitations of having to process two different locations of an enormous open world with only one console.
Fox, nobody said it was impossible, but of course any opportunity to attack somebody instead of explain why you disagree you just can't resist.
Colbertinator, grow up.
Why can't you people just e...
@ Kryptic
Nintendo disagrees with you.
Don't worry Jason, the people who aren't afraid are happy with a Pro quality system that requires a 4K TV to look any better (since it won't even support supersampling)... yet still can't even run in native 4K if you have a UHD set. That's why they mention price when it is still an unknown. That's why they mention games when they know games are going to be revealed at E3. That's why they make childish posts like, "OMG, I'm so scared!" to make thems...
I agree with most of what you posted King, but MS did technically reveal it before E3. They talked specs and elaborated upon them afterwards, showed a demo of it running Forza 6, let devs speak about it more openly, etc. Of course this year will show the games running on Scorpio, but they don't really need to talk any more about the Scorpio specifically.
Phil has mentioned that MS is focused on games now, has teased old IP, has not yet revealed games they were worki...
Ju, Scorpio will still be worth it for people who only have 1080p sets. Pro will not. Who's for the players now?
Hmm. All Ubisoft games for June? I wonder if MS has something going on with them at E3? The timing is rather coincidental at any rate.
On topic, I haven't played Watchdogs yet so I'm pretty stoked about that one.
