It's not that I love MS... It's that I like Sony less.

The games MS brings to E3 will be the threat to Sony. The fact that they will all look so much better is just icing on the cake.

Hey, Tyasia, if you're not careful "Big Floppy" is gonna end up getting right in your face! 😮

Seriously though, give it a rest, bud. Judging by your comments MS shouldn't ever start making games. Why, so you can still make fun of them or because you fear competition with Sony? Games are going front and center at E3, which Phil said will have to run long because of the games...

...but keep running your mouth while you can, bec...

Well, the rumor is 1 year timed-exclusivity on Xbox, so we'll probably find out more on Sunday.

Yay! Gold AND silver? That certainly trumps free BC compatibility with all my old games... which, BTW isn't a secret weapon, but added value and increased brand loyalty for people with 360's looking to upgrade.

You guys are honestly going to get shut up real quick come Sunday when MS' new games slap all the ignorant people around here right in the face. Normal people can see it coming a mile away. Ignorant trolls want to ridicule a free service and sit like ...

It's direct.
It's real.

It's real direct Direct Reality, for real!
...and probably an API extension. Sorry if I spoiled the surprise. 😜

These API extensions have probably just gotten out to developers recently, and we won't hear about them in detail until GDC next year.

Why do you think that Hololens is the only possible choice for MR on the Xbox? MS has already stated that multiple headsets are going to work on their platform. I believe they've also said that Hololens was not meant for the consumer as much as it is for commercial applications and proof of concept.

On topic, I believe Direct Reality is going to be part of the DX API... more or less a tool for developers to use in order to make MR games run more efficiently on DX12 HW...

Um, the price of the PS3 was high because Sony shoehorned HW into the PS3 in order for BC to function. As they revised the system they removed part of the HW and ran partial emulation until they simply abandoned it for good. If price was such an issue last gen, maybe Sony shouldn't have made PS owners pay for an unnecessary Blu Ray drive to support Sony's success in the movie format war, which was the other reason price was high. I guess Sony forgot their stance last gen when they ...

If you recall, everyone who knew anything about tech like Arstechnica, Extremetech, and Anandtech all said BC was impossible this gen because of a lack of power and vastly differing architectures.

Having achieved BC on XB1 is amazing, but they've improved most evey game that runs on XB1 BC. If that's not megaton in its' own right, I don't know what is.

Because people want to make up stuff about Xbox that isn't true in an effort to deflate MS before E3 blows everyone away.

Days Gone waiting for games?

3296d ago 1 agree3 disagreeView comment

Yeah, me too. In the same "leak", it was suggested that Bethesda has an XB1 exclusive Sci Fi RPG to announce too.

I bet you can't remember when Phil said, "We may have to show Scorpio off before E3 to make room for games at E3." Do you remember Scorpio being shown off before E3? That happened too, you know. Now 90 minutes isn't enough time to show off the games alone...

I think we all agree now, MS is serious about games.

Blinx was recently liscensed out to one of the guys that works for IGN, I think it was the senior editor, so it might happen pretty soon.

The Coalition admitted that it was their choice to work on Gears, and it was one of the hardest decisions they had to make because they liked the game they were working on at that time. Also, MS didn't apologize because they didn't screw it up. Platinum couldn't make it work, right? That means Platinum is at fault, hence the apology. Nice try, Rainslacker, but do you ever say anything that is grounded in reality?

3296d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

Disagree all you want, still no evidence...

3296d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

If it was turning out to be a good game, or even a good investment, MS would have kept it going. It is therefore safer to assume it is PG who is at fault, especially since they just apologized for their mistake.

But yeah, you choose to defend Platinum even though you know better.

3296d ago 3 agree5 disagreeView comment

You have no evidence to support that FUD.

3296d ago 2 agree7 disagreeView comment

The guy from Platinum literally apologizes for screwing up Scalebound, yet it's still MS' fault it was cancelled?

Only thing sadder than your comment at this point is the amount of people who agree with you...

Wait until Bethesda announces their exclusive Xbox RPG on Sunday...
