ME:A on XB1S looks almost as good as the Pro version, and it's just upscaled to 4K. Pro is nothing more than a cash grab by Sony.
It does 4K, has a UHD drive, actually improves more than resolutiion so 1080p TV's still see a benefit, and new games are in the works for next year. Oh yeah, and a dozen and a half launch exclusives over the next 12 months on some really amazing IP.
Just like Sony, MS didn't need to show new games this year either.

Sony had the worst show I've seen in at least a decade. Nothing new besides Shadow of the Colossus (because Sony wants you to BC through their convenient payment plan) and a few games we already knew about.

Concerned? That's how a subscription works. You pay for access to the Game Pass library so it's a rental, not a library that you build over time.
Why speculate? Sega was 600 million in debt when the DC launched, because of the Sega CD, 32X, and Saturn failures. In the ~18 months the DC was out, they made 200 million in profits, but had to liquidate their HW division to pay off the rest of the debt they owed.
The other reason is that Sony lied about the power of the PS2 by comparing raw figures for things like polygon counts and showing off the system rendering a head. Which is of course, great if you want to watch...
