Why is it almost always a Japanese company that is going under financially? Do they have to stick to outdated ideas in order to stay popular in Japan? I'm just curious, not bashing, but they very rarely advance any genre with new ideas any more. Back on SNES, no western studio made anything worth playing but look at them now...
What do you want to bet they ship on the disc like Street Fighter did it?
Bungie does some of the best AI in the industry. That, and the story, is what got me into Halo. Destiny just doesn't appeal to me. Glad to hear you're enjoying it though!
Maybe the title refers to the video? These vids are old and a lot of things, like physics, are supposed to have been compromised. SMS stated that they may fix it in a patch though.
Maybe people stopped playing because the hype wasn't real, the coding remains broken and there's no story to entertain us? Borderlands is a much better game to play with friends, but it does need more competetive MP to round it out. I'll wait for Borderlands 3. :b
Game = $60
Day one dlc = $130+
What's wrong with this picture?
Ever since the merger, it seems like Enix forgot about Dragon Quest on home console.
Singing: "Middle Aged Man"
Queue Mike Myers on stage, "Yer lookin' at my gut aren't ya!"
Explains why my Internet Explorer keeps bsod-ing on me.
For all his talk about innovation in hybrid cloud computing, it sounds an awful lot like something I'd heard over a year ago - from Microsoft.
Nice article though; it really gets into why this tech is so significant to the industry.
Please take a look at the article posted yesterday about drifting. You're only being shown what they want you to see. The physics in this game look awful. If Slightly Mad doesn't fix it you might as well be playing Burnout. Please watch the video in the other article; don't get ripped off!
I'd been saying this forever:
Theoretical performance is a number on a sheet of paper. Last gen, PS3 was TWICE as powerful on paper but struggled to stay on par with 360. Matter of fact, for at least the first year, the graphics comparisons always showed 360 games looking better than PS3. It wasn't until Sony reworked their api that they got up to the same level as MS. Ironically, the PS3 had no good exclusives within that time frame as well. Does this sound the...

Go into a store and look at Vita games; the selection is smaller than Wii U and there's hardly anything coming out. The Vita is not living up to its potential and Sony can obviously do a lot better than they are.
Ugh. This is looking more Shift and less sim every day. I'll wait for the "promised" patches before I buy this. Are they Slightly Mad, or completely off their rockers?
Lol. Remember all of the great add ons that N64 and PS1 had? Oh yeah there weren't any. Heck, I can't recall XBOX or PS2 having much besides some Halo map packs. This is what happens when you grow up in the modern age.
Vita's mainly for remote play since it's more of a PS4 accessory at the moment. To me, the lack of AAA titles is appauling and I can get way more indie titles on my smart phone.
Also, this article is awfully one sided since Vita is still selling decently well. Sony could easily turn around the software issue at any time.
It's true. If you vote with your dollars, either the companies making games will change how they make games or they will perish. Either way, we win if we stick to our guns.
Slightly off topic: I won't shop at Wal Mart or buy anything Apple since I don't agree with their business practices.
I remember when you would unlock all the cool stuff in a game by "achieving" certain milestones as you played; now all I get is a bunch of useless points and a boatload of cool stuff to pay extra for. Some companies are even making it necessary to pay extra to finish the story (cough Destiny, cough Far Cry 4).
When does it end???
Yes, we need to be able to make smores again. I miss those. ;b
Full competitive MP would be nice to see.
