I'm not being a fanboy here but the only thing that I liked was the fact you can have a game download even when the console is off which, I know is already implemented for the xbox, just not turned on because even when your not online, if you turn your xbox on it knows there is an update without you doing anything so it's already 'on'
The games were ok but not 'oh crap' mind blowing and the additional features are kinda already done between the wii-u a...
Let me rephrase that, Deep Down was not gameplay, it was just a cgi.
deep down wasnt a game it was a movie - sure it looked nice but that was about it
I would laugh my ass off
Then I would get pissed off because it would mean I will have to go to the 6.30 karate class instead of originally going to the 4.30 one :)
Just because it has blu-ray doesn't have any bearing on backwards compatibility what so ever.
It's the cpu and graphics chips inside of the machine that dictate how they are coded. If you have an intel chip in one machine and an ibm power4 or 5 or 6 or 7 or cell etc in another, they are two different beasts all together and cannot run software compiled on the other chip set without either an emulator built in or extra hardware - both of which come at an additional cos...
WHAT DID I MISS?? I did not see anything in there 'mind blowing' - just a bunch of remakes, delays and oh pay more at a huge discounted rate for old OLD games that you have already paid for once before on the virtual console.
Again, did I miss some mind blowing news during that whole boring video??
As for microsoft taking note on how to let people know what is going on, they already had this medium quite a while ago on a regular basis, Majors Minute w...
I know it's nit picking but, she created this image on HIS account not her own account so the part that reads "Today I receive an email saying that my NNID got deleted because “a children need parental consent to create an Account online” is totally crap - she never created an account as an underage child so his account should not have in theory gotten banned.
And if they are trying to say he is under age, they have no way of knowing that.
Very hokey...
Funny thing is, I really enjoyed Fable The Journey and I really like Tiger Woods golf. Both of these titles work extremely well with kinect, at lest they do in my house - surprised that people gave up on Fable so quickly.
xbox live is a service - it will carry over - there is no way a new console will come out and make you start afresh - that would be committing suicide for either company.
Glad that you like that although, it took them over 20 years to make this is kind of a non-issue for me.
Anyone back in the 80's that owned a sinclair zx-spectrum (timex over here in the u.s) where the games loaded from an audio cassette already had this - as the game loaded into the computer (using regular av cables) the screen would always change showing you images of the game etc - back then it was absolutely revolutionary and still amazes me to this day.
Cloud will be standard - problems happen with all sorts of stuff online - it's the same when online gaming first happened, there were major hiccups - now online gaming is a standard.
Cloud storage being offline wasn't a big deal, it effected my wife with her halo campaign, no big deal, i copied the stuff that was pending upload to her hard drive and she could continue.
Giving a free month for something that was so minor was definitely very decent of t...
And now to celebrate with a large plate of nachos - looks like a bowl to me.
That's what I figured, just wanted to confirm. The part where they say "The service goes live today, and is available for Xbox Live Gold members as well as those with a Rhapsody subscription" makes it sound like one or the other but based on all of the other apps I kind of knew better.
Wait, if you have Xbox live gold you DON'T have to pay the 5 bucks a month to Rhapsody or you still have to have a paid Rhapsody account also before you can use it??!!
But the problem is they are no longer considered "Gaming Consoles" they are "Entertainment Hubs" designed to be your one-stop living room entertainment source.
So get ready because a boat load more of the apps that are not game related are on their way.
Interestingly enough though, MS have removed twitter and Facebook from the console.
Personally I thought it was a fun game and really had no issues with my Kinect - mileage must vary I guess.
Jeezus what a bunch of frigging ungrateful people you are.
I have been there since xbox live beta testing days and have the nice big 10 on my account but doubt I will see one :(
I still have all of those games! Actually found my old xbox the other day too - I think I will plug it back in!!
I'm sure MS has something similar - it's almost required
