yeah, depending on how they FINALLY decide to divvy up that ram it should for sure. And I totally agree they definitely made things easier this time around, especially for porting to/from p.c games - hopefully their ports will be much better represented this gen.

The arguments between the two systems really is silly though. I bet there are people well into their late teens and older on here arguing like 8 year old kids on a playground - pretty sad when you look back at it. ...

who really cares? So childish.

It's a console, not a cure for cancer. The Xbox one, just like all other Xbox's is just as easy to develop for. The reason these guys are all coming out and saying this is because they have not been used to this ease of use when it comes to the play station brand because Sony always made things so difficult.

Definitely buying this.

The problem is, of those 8 how many will be Kinect 2.0 exclusives which in my mind really don't count as to being an exclusive unless the difference between kinect 1.0 and kinect 2.0 games is mind blowingly different.

Didn't see that they had said that, it would be smart considering most games are played online nowadays

Sony should include a headset with every console more so than a camera.

Exactly - well said (written)

So, when Sony come out after E3 and start implementing DRM along with the developers (because they will) what are all of you going to be saying then?

(And don't argue "Sony said they will leave it up to the developers" because that is pointless and just shows that you will believe anything they say because you have a hard on for one console and not another) - they are a business and their number one goal is to make money and make the shareholders rich, not make ...

SURE YOU DID - If you had found out the big surprise you would have already said what it was followed by 'mark my words'

Yeah but a lot of people would get them, trade them in at game stop for a much better price and put that money towards an actual game console :)

In that respect your right but generally (at least with mine) the kinect is right there with the xbox, if I forget to pack something that's right in front of me then that's me being a dummy lol - I can't really piss and moan at MS at that point for me being forgetful.

I do see your point though.

O/S is chipped - highly doubt it is on the hard drive (that would be slow)

How many people out there that have kinect and have actually broken one?!! not me, mine is fine, still works.

My main fear is the fact that the internal hard drive is not replaceable by us - what if it (and lately all I have done is replace hard drives for people) takes a crap?? All of those games you had installed are trashed and, do you then have to send the whole thing back to MS an...

He is talking about ALL next gen consoles in that 1 billion remark and it's not just north america, he is referring to world wide.

That kind of money could have been sank into a ton of original IP's, exclusive to the xbox360 or xbox one.

You all seem to be missing the big picture - this reveal was not aimed at the gaming side of the system, it was aimed at the multi-media side i.e. The yearly Consumer Electronics version of it.

The games / additional features / news is in 3 weeks at E3 i.e. The yearly biggest Gaming Convention.

I'm somewhat disappointed with it but gradually starting to warm up to it - don't shoot it in the foot just yet until you see the whole picture.

The huge announcement is for the xbox360 not for the Xbox One

4635d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

Those rumors were shot down by xbox support on twitter after they surfaced - supposedly there is no fee for playing used games or playing the same disc over different accounts in a household.

The name is not catchy?? Oh you mean it's not catchy like PS1, PS2, PS3, wait for it...... PS4 - gotcha.

4636d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Wrong - you do not have to pay a fee to play a used game or when your son/daughter/wife wants to use their account on the Xbox One to play COD or Halo etc when your not playing it.

That was a rumor that started yesterday and was ran with. Xbox support on twitter already confirmed that yesterday.

They already stated they are saving the games for the E3 gaming convention. Yesterday they just showed the Consumer Electronics Show pieces of the console.

Why????

Sony decided up front to display pretty much all gaming news for their system whereas Microsoft decided to first focus on all of the multi-media features of the system (and they did state they were saving the gaming side for E3 because that's what E3 is all about)

What Microsoft showed was basically the Consumer Electronics side of the system. Gaming will be shown in 3 weeks at E3 which is a gaming convention, where the games are appropriate.
