I don't mind the XB1 dash, I'm getting used to it even though there are still some quirks that I just am not used to but lets be honest, stating 'you can make your dash however you want' is a little open - you can change your pic your avatar and the color scheme but that's it.
Making it 'how you want' is being allowed to put tiles where you want them, resizing them etc.

Your not taking into account that just because there are 8-9 million ps4/XB-1's (combined) out there, that is a really small install base.
The percentage of people getting the game based on that number of consoles would be a financial disaster for Ubisoft.
They have to support current gen also where there is a combined 160 million consoles - the percentage of people that have not jumped to next gen is much higher and the sales would be a lot more.

1.25 million estimate is a lot of consoles to sell for one game in just over half a month.
Forza and the other games have sold that many over 3 months, your talking 1.2 million consoles sold, because of a game, in 20 days - that's a pretty decent number.

Thanks to bing i have almost $150 in my Microsoft account to buy DLC and games/movies etc with on Xbox live and a good 40-50 bucks more in points that I have not even redeemed yet - that's a good enough reason for me to 'Bing-it' right there.
I'm sorry but have any of the past xbox updates taken 'a while' I think even the last time they overhauled the dashboard it was still the same if not quicker than a lot of the ps3 SLLLOOOWWWWWW system updates.

Urm I turn to my 360 (s) because I do not own an xbox one nor a PS4 and nor will I until there is somthing absolutely next gen and mind blowing out there.
right now the games are just rehashes of other games with some prettier graphics - that's not next gen at all.
Will wait a few months before thinking about turning away from my 360. (prob won't even turn away from it when I do buy an XB1 or PS4)

You would rather pay the 179 for it because you don't like rebates but, if you mail in the rebate and forget about it, when the check comes it's a nice surprise right.

Well I assume then you have your xbox in full power off mode and not in low power mode right? You cannot say 'xbox on' and it turns on?? That's why it's slow.
I have mine set for voice activation (also so i automatically get the background updates while i sleep etc) and it takes a few seconds to load up
