If SE is using their Crystal tools (PC Technology), does this mean that they will not be taking advantage of the Cell+RSX architecture to enhance the game?
SE said that they are currently developing the game using PC technology (Crystal Tools). Does this mean they won’t be using the Cell+RSX processing capabilities to enhance the game in any way?
Will it only use 1 SPU like most multi-platform games do?
Or are they using PC technology just to develop the X360 version of the game?
Your thoughts are greatly appreciated.
I think you love games like Enchanted Arms.
;-)
In less than a year from launch x360 gets PWND. x360 is still a good console though, great games library.
It's just good to be a gamer these days.
You have the option of purchasing a sexy Blu-ray remote that's in the 20-30 dollar price range.
Agreed on the moving on part. This format war is just holding consumers back.
I was just comparing both games in Single player mode. They are both short.
I haven't played any action/hack and slash (Ninja gaiden, Devil may Cry, God of war) multi-player games (not that leaderboards crap). If such games exist for this genre, please point me in their direction because reviewers talk about On-line as something that should be expected in every Fantasy/Action Adventure game. Just to show how much they nip-tick when they $NEED$ to give a bad review.

I think it's because in life, people usually want to chop down the tallest tree (Sony), so that they down feel so small (Wii60).
P.S: It's almost time to update the date on your avatar. :-)
Gears was also short. The only thing that gave it some replay value was it's multiplayer content, which unfortunately HS does not have. Still one hell of a game. Just picked it up last Sunday.
I thought for a while that all the hate coming from reviewers and certain "gamers" was fake, but after playing this game I have to say there is a whole lot of hate going on out there.
Reviewers are just full of S4|T! They say that the game is repetitive, yeah so was Gears of War. Take cover, shoot, Take Cover, Shoot. Just like Rainbow six vegas, but Gears and R6V were a great games, Heavenly sword to them is just modest.
They Heavenly Sword is too short...

I was refering to some of the people that visit and post comments on this site, not the people that reviewed the game. The guy that reviewed this game is entitled to his opinion, but what really f***ing pisses me off is when I read a post about some 'gamer' starts behaving like he is part of the BORG race from Star Trek by always borrowing other people's opions about things.
Just by seeing the game, people just say WAO! When you pickup this game you can realize that the devs put a LOT of work and dedication to it.
Sometimes I think that most of the gamers in of this site are connected to an IGN or GameSpot cluster and just repeat every thing they read. I think it's because many gamers lack the ability of seeing something and drawing thier own conclusions. However, these days most people use 'tribal-thinking' for almost everything they say or do.
The funny thing is that these people (specially reviewers) that played factor 5 games like "Rogue Squadron" last-gen probably used to move their controllers the same way you need to move them in Lair, even though all you had to do was move the anolog stick.
LOL!!!!!
Embrace change for once in your lives!
Lair's control system is like learning how to ride a bike. If you quit just because you fell once or twice you will never learn and have fun.
Once you get the hang of it, the game is nothing but awesome.
But of course, most gamers in this site behave like microphones. They just echo what other people say without even trying things themselves.
The PS3 version seems to be photoshoped to make it appear blurry. Looks like when you adjust the sharpness level of a TV and set it to 0.
Just my opinion.
GRAW 2 videos for PS3. Doesn't look like a bad port at all. So things might be starting to shift in the PS3's direction. And then again, maybe not, because money talks and as long as Microsoft is willing to pay-off devs, they will always get the better version of third party games. Sad but true.
the fact that out of the 10.4 million xbox 360s sold, 2.x million are sales from gamers that have had to buy their second or even third xbox 360. That should bring their real install base to around 8.x million. Not too far away from 5 million if you do the 2nd grade math.
"Gears of War helped to build the current success of the 360. Add this to an amazing library of games and this equals success."
question: Can you name a couple of exclusive titles that are already in stores for xbox 360, (not coming out int the future) that have the level of success Gears of war has?
and regarding your comment about cell phone companies not having a war. Why do you think Cingular has that commercial in which they advertise themselves as...
just check this part of the interview:
'BIZ: EA's John Riccitiello recently said that the game industry is "boring people to death" with "rinse-and-repeat" games and making games harder and harder to play or less accessible. As a software guy, do you agree with this? Do you think the industry needs to make some radical changes?'
'Harrison: Maybe [John's] comments were addressed more internally at EA than they were at the industry as a whole.'

"The first question on the floor was one to clarify how, if at all, the Xbox 360 release would affect the PS3 version. The short answer is that it won't. Final Fantasy XIII is being developed first for the PS3 in Japan, a region that won't see an Xbox 360 release. The Xbox 360 iteration is a port of the PS3 build, but Square was quick to point out that you can't say this will cause a delay of the PS3 release in America. Separate teams are working on the two versions and both are moving a...
