I always wanted to know more about the "people from before". Learning about templars and asassins in different points of history was the main reason I played every game in the series. Heck, I even wish they bring back the glyph puzzles.
VR helmet and gloves support for FPS games.
The only thing that studies have proven is that losing to your friends on a multiplayer race of Mario Kart can make you feel a bit more aggressive than ripping heads and torsos in single player God War 3 for 3 hours. Violent imagery, has almost no affect on peoples levels of aggressiveness, but competitive gameplay can make peoples aggressiveness levels spike, even if it's just for a small amount of time (minutes) after they put their controllers down.

Still, putting specific examples aside, the gammers community (in general) has to be the most forgiving and complacent consumer group of all time.
Sadly, customers have very short memories. Microsoft will get a redo, just like Sony got after the psp Go's no UMD drama from a few years ago.
It just makes me sad to think that in the near future, new games will excite me as much as new music does today. I simply don't know (or care) who sings or plays what anymore.
True, I miss the GAME OVER screens too!
The problem here is about OWNERSHIP! XBox One is just a preview of a future in which our great grandchildren will own NOTHING!
I think this kind of criticisim is exactly what this industry needs if it wants to move foward. I feel like I have been playing the same games this gen that I played during the 90s (fps, hack n' slash, platformers, rpg, racing) only with higher resolutions and better sound/voice acting. Some games can feel so generic (Call of Duty, Guitar Hero and a few others) that I sometimes wonder if they are being "developed" using some kind of Wizard Tool that generates the source code fo...
Why the 'daily check-in' thing is just stupid:

It's because the Xbox One is more than just a gamming console... its a digital parole officer!
The hardest thing to accept for corporate CEOs like Steve Balmer must be that, in the end, the consumer is the real master.
How much is 399 in 2006 money? I wonder how much of an initial hit are they taking with these prices? How long will it take for them to reach the 30 million install base with such an attractive price point? Nice Job Sony, limping all the way to E3 only to check-raise Microsoft at the river!
Will Microsoft fold?
@Irishguy95
I wonder if that $800 PC will be capable of running the games the will be released on June 2017. I'm pretty sure PS4 and Xbox One will still be alive and well by then. Thats why Consoles > PC.
I bought God of War 1 used, since then I have purchased every other GOW title new, on day 1, even the psp ones. See how it works!
People will get so pissed that they would start to consider other long forgetten forms of entertainment. Like playing catch outside.
Do you guys really think Microsoft has been remotely serious about gaming, ever?! The whole idea behind the xbox brand has been to place a multimedia box in peoples livingrooms, using video games as a trojan horse. This has been the gameplan since 1999 acording to one of the original xbox system designers that was interviewed by gameinformer a few months back.
I wonder what GT5, KZ3, AC4, Halo 4 and other games would look like running on a $600.00 dollar PC from november, 2006?
Sonic the Hedgehog (1991).
I wish sony would reactivate the 'Other OS' on the PS3 now that its slowly being replaced by the PS4.
