Picked it up this up today. Played all evening with some family. At first they did not like the fact that their character was too slow while the opponents where fast and aggressive. It was only after beating a few opponents (and betting money on our fighter) that we were able to train and obtain SKILL POINTS that made our fighter better. Now the game seems to make more sense.
It would be nice if this game came with some ICY-HOT patches.... damn my arms and shoulders are kill...

We have seen similar techs before (EyeToy) that have made us become PREJUDICE towards Kinect. And in this economy we MUST BE PREJUDICE because KINECT, as good as at may be, does not come cheap.
I think Sony might have delayed this one so they could have something to steal "a bit" of Kinect's thunder come early November.
I just think it would be smart for Sony to have some Sony Kiosks with this game @ Best Buy and other retailers around the same time that Kinect comes out.
Who knows, it might even tap into the inner Edward Norton that some Dad's have and this could influence thier buying decision. lol
PS2 with the EyeToy... pretty much what Kinect is trying to do now 6 to 7 years later.
The wii just made it Super popular. Kudos to them for that.
From a business perspective, ABSOLUTLY. Nintendo has been very profitable this Gen, but something tells me that despite making a quick buck, they have also failed tremendously by alienating they very audience that years ago gave them the fame and brand recognition they enjoy today.

Nintendo is extremely popular among kids and seniors.
It's really hard to explain why kids seem to go nuts when they see game characters with Big Heads and tiny bodies. And don't even get me started with Mario. I believe that somehow we genetically pass on our memories of playing Super Mario Bros. on NES to our kids...

I have to agree with you on this. The game could feel like there is some computer asistance going on at times. Computer asistance for the AI, humm... yeah, it seems redundant. We should be able to at least disable this. The game should let the drama unfold a bit more spontaneously, because at this point, despite this version being a HUGE improvement, the game still feels (if not by much) like it's follow...

I assume you have never seen an end user trying to explain to a programmer why they don't like a feature the programmer has created. Many (NOT ALL!!) tend to not take it very well. It could sometimes get ugly. I that the few female programmers I know tend to have a better time dealing with those cases.

Hi all,
Just picked this Move accessory up from Gamestop yesterday and I have played Time Crisis (TC) Demo, The Shoot (TS) Demo and RE5 Gold Edition with it. Works great with TC & TS but RE5 is not compatible due to the inability to remap the buttons for the Move Controller.
I first tried The Shoot Demo and started destroying wooden cowboys right away. This game can be played with just ONE hand as you only have to point and pull the trigger.

I am glad you are enjoying ps MOVE as much as you are. I also love Sports Champions. It's RE5 that seems to drive me nuts.
I just wish they would give gamers the option to swap the 't' and 'middle' buttons function. That way it feels more like your shooting with a GUN and not a FLASHLIGHT. This controller scheme would work better with ALAN WAKE if it ever comes out for PS3.
And don't even get me started on how to RELOAD ...

why did CRAPCOM have to use the 'T' (trigger) button to draw your weapon and the 'middle' button to shoot? Shooting zombies in RE5 with Move feels like using my cable box remote to switch channels when it's running low on batteries...
Ahh... and to think that I bought Move early mostly for this RE5 add-on.
I really miss the 'light phaser'. I think it was the coolest gun peripheral ever invented, unlike that stupid and loud NES gun.

Being a gamer in a third world country (like I was for most of my teenage years) where blackouts still occur is the most frustrating thing, no matter what game your playing... :(
I bought this game when it came out. Only played it once since. In all honesty this game is not as bad as some reviewers say. I give it a 7/10, because I hate having to chase the other fighters after I've landed a few punches, after a while the chasing becomes seriously anoying due to the tilting of the move controller.
I expected a lot more from this because Fight Night Round 3's 'Get in the Ring' mode was released almost have a decade ago and the game play o...
