If this is true and DJ Hero 3 does see the light of day, then God must really exist, because DJ Hero is a really great franchise.

So many cool music right now for them to work with.
Can wait!!

They are probably implementing extremely complex security measures and at the same time overlooking the obvious holes that will eventually lead to Sony being hacked again. Thats the problem with Super smart people, They can't get themselves to THINK SIMPLE even if their lives depended on it.

Better cheerleaders please. They are just plain ugly and robotic.

It's a very interesting game. I'm enjoying the narrative and the character development is simply awesome. The way you play the game (choosing truth,doubt or lie) is going to depend very much on how you perceive people in general. I'm pushing doubt or lie often because I believe that every one is lying or has something to hide, which may not always be the case and I end up getting some questions wrong during each case.

Still, very good & deep game.

I can't understand some gamers. IT's FREE!!!

I wish Sony would have only offered gamers one free game:

LAIR!!!

Macgyver

It would be nice to play a game where your survival depened more on your intelect than in the amount of ammo of the size of your guns.

Besides, completing the game in hard might unlock full access to the Home Depot. Now that would be awesome. xD

Well, getting 50 cents for sports titles that are just one season old is pretty humiliating to me. It happened to me once, and from that day I promised to never let it happened again. I would rather throw my old games in a camp fire.

@PirateThom

I share your frustration. People please read the final part of that Sony letter posted by PirateThom before any of you continue celebrating.

To me, he has that typical wall street condescending tone. He basically says that Sony's losses should be minimal because the majority of PS3 owners (80%) do not have enough money to be interesting targets for potential hackers seeking monetary gain.

@Foliage

Well, excuse me rocket scientist, but this stupid service has been down for 18 days now, and Sony has no idea of when it will be back, thats why if you had half a brain you would EXPECT it to be offline for at least a month. Unless your the gullible type that still believes it will be back online next week like they promised last week, and the week before that.

God, so many pathetic retards on N4G these days.

So... I guess sony will be adding 2 months to my subscription.

1 month for the blackout period
1 month extra for free

is this correct?

if not, then basically they arent giving subscribers anything.

very nice call.

I wish EA would have done the same with shift 2. After playing GT5 and FORZA 3 for a few months, I recently rented shift 2 and could not get myself to play the game for more than 5 minutes. I returned the game to the video store that same evening.

60 fps really makes racing games shine.

The Sad thing about the ongoing battle between Security/Hacking experts is that networking software is never completly secure because whenever these experts choose to reverse engineer some version of a popular networking software (Apache, IIS, VNC, etc) and they actually find a vulnerability that allows Remote Code Execution or DoS Attacks, these finding are not always post as an advisory in order to help the developers and users of these programs to take mesures and patch their systems. Some...

@Joeorc

So... let me see if I understand what your saying. Sony is going quit the entire gaming console business because of this security incident?

They should just abandon a worldwide recognized brand and millions of loyal, software/hardware purchasing gamers because a few hackers?

I understand that this is bad for SONY's image, but they have overcome, IMO worst problems in the past, you know, some involving energy sources and hidden c...

Agree with Moerdigan

The whole thing just feels borderline hypocrite/cynical. Like buying adult movies @ a religious center.

Perhaps Sony can lower their 50mb memory footprint by removing features on the XMB that gamers don't use very often (printing,sony's version of video chat,etc) to make room for Skype!!! ... ughhh.. but wait... removing features (Other OS) is what brought us to this debacle in the first place.
