the 360 version is inferior because of the the 360's controller. The D-Pad on the 360 seems to have a mind of its own. Its just awful for fatalities.
If only they would use their great minds and talent towards finding cures for cancer and other illnesses they would really be helping the world become a better place, and receive massive props even after their time on earth is up.
I though your comment was a commercial for a pet adoption center for a sec.
Dear SONY,
Since you won't be releasing any new Heavenly Sword games, please include Nariko as a playable character in God of War 4.
Sincerely,
Heavenly Sword Fans,
I'm a PS Move fan, but this is HUGE for Kinect and the 360.
Just imagine parents with their children playing this game at walmart, target, etc. IMO this will translate into many Kinect sales.
Moves like this one are the ones that increase the install base and therefore increases the interest from developers to develop other games (hardcore, etc).
Nice move Microsoft.
Very true,
Back in the 80's and early 90's Hacking was all about being stealth.
I thought SONY (or any network client/server) would receive packets that contain MY IP address and the MAC address of the DEVICE/ROUTER that is connected to the PSN server I have logged into.
Only if sony includes my MAC address in the data portion (application layer) of the packet(s) could a MAC address BAN take place, and this could easily be circumvented by modifying the packets MAC address info (stored in application layer) info before they are sent to PSN.
Agreed.
I should have specified that the DHCP table you need to check is the one available thru the routers web interface.
Nice catch silvacrest
If your home network is providing wifi conectivity, check you 'DHCP Clients table'. Someone may be accessing your router from the 'outside' and this user may have media player sharing enabled.
It would be funny if this were the case, cuz the PS3 would have been an Intrusion Detection System by accident.
Good Luck
who are you referring to SONY (US BAN) or Hackers? lol
WAO!! Castlevania LOS better than GOW3, when Castlevania stole every single page from the GOW playbook. Invert the scores and you would have my score.
And this piece of "NEWS" should be labeled as OPINION and not ARTICLE.
Castlevania and Mafia 2 were my dissappointments of 2010.
Care to share some thoughts on the Online gaming and cheating thanks to these Hacks?
Just noting how you carefully avoided that part of the problem.
This PS3 hack is different due to the online component. Back in the days of PS1 and PS2 most people played offline, and if you cheated, you were only cheating yourself. But today, some gamers ignore the single player part of games and jump straight into multiplayer, and it sucks to see that you just can't win because others are cheating.
That's what I hate about this "hack"
And all of you people that believe that this was done because of th...
This will only hurt gaming. I can see sony including a "bit by bit" Firmware Comparator on every new blu-ray game. Sorry guys, but more loading times ahead.
Thanks a lot Hackers.... uhh I mean, Crackers
And how painful it is to be on top of the latest CFW news, downloads, patches etc.
Ahh ... those DarkAlex - PSP days. Fun for a while, but then it just feels like too much work. Being stuck between Hackers and Sony could really be a pain in rear.
@Bigpappy
Can't I just buy a USB extension cable, connect it to the PS Eye and place the PS Eye on top of something thats on side, like a table or something. Maybe that way I could still face my TV while playing the game?
Does anyone know if this would work ?
GT5 seems awesome. I have only played prologue with my brother in law so I can't say much about the full release, but this idea of giving gamers crutches or handicap (no damage until you have enough money/experience with the game) just seems a bit odd to me.
It seems like game developers have become afraid of presenting gamers with a GAME OVER screen. I believe that if you TOTAL YOUR CAR at the beginning of the game and RUN OUT OF MONEY due to repairs, you should get some...
If Activision is not going to put the same amount of effort on PS3 games, then Activision PS3 games should cost $50.00 or $45.00 while Xbox games should cost the full $65.00
@Beware Oblivion
"it really is a fantastic piece of tech. "
It does the exact same thing as wii motion plus.
- without the GameCube graphics...
Looks more like a DNS hack
