It is a new console though, it's just following the same path as a new PC. I expect both Sony's next console and the following MS console to follow similar directions to each other as both now follow the PC direction. If existing Sony PS4 games aren't compatible with its next console it will have been done deliberately.
"Freespace 2, but it adds Battlestar Galactica features to it" REALLY??? that sure looks like Star Trek to me!!
Well I have a mortgage and other responsibilities so I can't just keep on handing over money for some personal entertainment and don't have parents to get money from or have an inheritance.
My reason not to buy is simply it's yet another subscription. I'd really like 1 but have a PS4 & PS3. If MS removed the subs I'd buy it tomorrow and start buying all future games for it.
The embarrassing bit while playing was shouting "it's bloody Lewis Hamilton!!". I hadn't kept up with the media blurp so had no idea he was in it lol
Yeah I know but it's still my fav of the genre and bar a label it could have been just as easily been a CoD SP
I think of all the studios that have gone just because of EA and the answer is extremely easy.
Enjoying IW campaign at the moment, lot better than I expected. Ghosts was fun and enjoyed CoD4 again.
They should do what they did with Uncharted and have a remastered set as Id enjoy playing all the others again.
My fav though was Bad Company 2, I just liked the humour element.
Check out Tiberian Dawn Redux (based on original C&C game with campaigns) for ZH, really fun!

You need to download 1.4 and the 1.44 final update file
After I'd downloaded the files I noticed there was no file extensions (might be due to my PC protection), anyway if you have the same then just make sure the files end with .ex...
DAMN.... I thought I'd missed some new releases, oh well. Generals/Zero Hour is still so much fun thanks to the ever increasing user created maps and game conversions. (thanks to Moddb.com & cnclabs.com)
Do you know how many devs it took to create fantastic games like the early Battlefield titles? just 14 and that was considered a large team.
Just think about the amount of new talent EA could have brought in with that amount of cash. Hell just think of all those great old games that could be revamped and sold at lower tier prices.
I keep reading about this new online direction but the online part is the same (well smaller) than GT6
Just because PD said it seems to mean its true no matter what.
The Academy is now FiA
And you can be sure the upcoming single player missions will be the seasonal events lists that are in GT6
This title is about paying more but getting far less.
Explain this new fresh direction? I keep reading that there is one but cant find it.
Is it the online part changing the menu name from Online Quick Play in GT6 to Sport ?
Or changing Academy to FiA?
Yeah there are more players playing the 1st and 2nd CoD games than any of the later versions. When you examine the lists it seems to be down to when Activision shrunk the maps for 12 / 18 player count.
Fortunately CoD WaW on the PC still has plenty of active 64 player dedicated game servers and feels more like back to CoD roots than these 16/18 player p2p games
Re PC, I also wonder if it's due to still being 18 player online again rather than 64. Right now there's still plenty of full active 64 player games for CoD WaW.
I thought they did by making sure max multiplayer count is still at 18 rather than 64 :(
I looked everywhere for this back to it's roots 64 player multiplayer gaming - you can't even call it a re-master with this bit stripped out :(
If they switch to dedicated servers with server browser on PC they also need to look at enlarging the maps for at least 32 player (ideally 64 though as per the original). I think there would be a huge increase in PC sales.
