It's a real shame. The last patch showed promise with armour and weapon upgrades, the expansion was fun but in the end Bungie did the same as they did from the start - severely limit the levelling path so yet again there's nothing to do after just 1 month.
Whatever Bungie tell the media they are the one's that set the short levelling path - again.
I can't help but feel Bungie team made so much money from Destiny 1 that the staff would rather retire ...
Wow Robert, is that you lol
There's nothing wrong with implementing a system to better target your skills against other players. It's no different to selecting a search for low ping servers. But anything like this must be selectable by the gamers and there should be rewards that match the difficulty.
It's a real shame that games from the big publishers are being developed with an aim to just scam the customer. I didn't buy a number of games recently that I would have normally and if it carries...
Maybe they should be more specific. I still have a PS3 and most online games ike CoD series, Bf143, BFBC2, Farcry series, GT6, F1 2010, Red Dead Redemption 2 all have full onlne support and its free!
I can download all my PSN purchased games and only a few games like Motorstorm no longer have online support but the SP campaign works fine.
The PS3 menu system is faster and more responsive than my PS4 with the exception of psn shopping. I even prefer the PS3 dynami...
It would be fine but the Party chat is limited to 8 rather than 16
I find GT Sport a big step back compared to GT6. No dynamic weather, no heat haze effects, you cant voice chat with friends in the lobby, you cant find friends who are in a lobby unless they are the host. You cant modify each wheel setting so no setting up for race circuits properly.
And the AI is just awful slowing down to a crawl around corners.
Is this a good thing? The PC market has embraced digital because it works on much the same principles as physical. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the console markets so should you wish to sell your game or trade in towards a new game the only way is buy physical.
Also the digital PC market is an open system so theres plenty of competition to keep prices and discounts in line with physical but on consoles digital is artificially higher and many titles and expansions are lo...
It's as though Bungie team has left the building but there's been a few left behind who wanted to make just a bit more cash out of Destiny 1 by calling it Destiny 2 and then copying and pasting all the enemies that had been wiped out in D1. Then strip the collecting system only to re-add it again but as just alternate basic kit rather than great ornaments like in D1.
I don't think Bungie team wanted to create Destiny 2, there's no love for it; no holiday theme events ...
BF1942, BF1943, BFBC series were all about fun whereas BF3 onwards seems to be about realism over fun
Loved BC2 story and online but looking at the way the big publishers are trying to find extra ways to rip gamer
s off I expect EA will find a way to ruin BC3
I think the huge price drop helped.
I thought it was going to fixed in readiness for the next expansion! Now its out, no fixes and further crap that it will be fixed in the future. These devs are not listening to the community rather just saying it so as to sell rippoff expansion packs.
I agree Titanfall 2 was a great game but it lacks polish. Even today you can play CoD IW and get new weapon rewards, animated skins etc but TF2 felt kind of flat in that area and the menu system is very dull.
Fix this area and maybe opt for a proper season pass but at a realistic price (£20 - £25) or even just charge for a user map editor (as generally I find user created content often has more ingenuity) and I think they could beat CoD or at least rival it.
To date Ive only played 2 of the subscription psn games so its not good value at all.
I just want good online gaming servers with voip and the PS4 fails on this miserably.
GT Sport - no in game voip chat
GT6 - 16 player in game voip chat
And this is why if you are going to have different powered consoles then you need games designed in much the same way as differently powered PC's.
Games should have settings so the gamer can choose to have 60fps but maybe cut down on shadows, particle effects etc etc on the lowered powered console to keep online gameplay balanced.
I doubt you will find 1 primary sales led market that "likes" 2nd hand/used market.
If you buy something then you have the right to sell it - whatever the product. Games are no different to books, videos, CD's etc etc but just because it's on a digital media it's allowed the publishers to find away to bypass your rights.
I really don't understand why our governments haven't come down hard on this practice to protect the consumer. What's the point in having all these laws to protect the consumer for physical and invisible (Insurance etc) produ...
So Bungie recognise they made mistakes but are they fixing them for existing players ie. increasing the ridiculously low level barrier or are we really just seeing media blurb on "we've fixed things but it's gonna cost you an expansion" to see it.
I notice they're still not making different armour sets being of any value. An intelligent dev would allow the player to collect sets and store as a set and depending on when a full set is worn it should add ...
It is on PC because Steam treats the digital product much the same as if it were physical. It won't on consoles till you can trade/sell on 2nd hand, prices are much more competitive and you can buy all digital codes outside of the store - no more of this lets keep prices at max for season passes etc just because there's no competition.
It would have more games if MS just let it run Steam lol (7672 new games in 2017 or 21 per day!)
