But your existing helmet might offer better specs than the new one. certainly the case for my hunter helmet so I'll upgrade when the option is available.
Of course it is!
If it weren't for all these measures requiring you to get various currencies to upgrade weapons and armour everybody could have been happily sitting with their controller doing absolutely nothing with everything maxed out!
:)
And if you want to use upgraded armour and weapons from the other factions you need crucible Commendations
I really feel the Uk season pass DLC at £35 is a rip-off
But this article is totally wrong, it's as though it was written by someone who either has no understanding of gaming or didn't get any freebies!
I have not purchased the DLC
It's odd how the word grinding as been shafted about everywhere in the article as a derogatory term yet most games can be said to have grinding. You play CoD and play the same 14 or so maps over an...
There are lots of options to creating a Raid team that could and should have been implemented such as using a section in the tower where players could look at Raid boards and click their interest to participate - when positions are filled players are notified the raid is going to start.
The interested player spots could be filled by friends, 6 player and 3 player fireteam etc.
Even CoD, so within the same publisher, price properly (ie. Season pass $49.99 / £34.99) . This $ = £ is unique to Bungie and a real rip-off.
I likely would buy the DLC bundle if I were charged much the same prices as USA but in UK it's more expensive than buying the full game and much the same as buying other AAA games.
Wish he'd asked why Europe/UK is being charged so much more for the DLC than USA!
I can see why you might say that but there are other factors to consider such as addictive gameplay etc.
The early Pong games were very simplistic yet highly addictive as was Space Invaders, Missile command, Breakout etc etc etc.
There's no story, no alternate endings etc just get the highest score.
Personally I would have liked to be able to explore more of the landscape including something like Patrol in Raid areas and rather than this ever chan...
The weekly and nightfall strikes are reset each week but who's to say if the following week or even the week after that it's only for DLC owners.
It should be like 99.9% of games where if you don't buy the DLC it doesn't effect the main game. I believe this was done by Bungie very deliberately just like updating the Eula and forcing gamers to agree (even though they changed and removed content before the EULA agreement) which says they can change and remove an...
Really hate how all my Legendary weapons are now redundant as not powerful enough and I have to start all over again upgrading new Legendary weapons.
They should have just added further upgrade options.
And the new EULA that you have to agree to to continue playing is extremely dodgy, you agree that they can remove content as they want!!!
Ahh I'm referring to the levels in the (lvl28) Weekly and Nightfall that was part of the original game and is now only available to DLC purchasers.
It's original game content that's been striped out of the game and now only available if you purchase the DLC.
The UK price for the DLC bundle is $55.00!!!!!
I really don't understand why they just didn't add a level 30 to existing levels.
It's very underhand to strip out primary content from the main game and I'm not paying $55.00 (UK price) for a tiny bit of DLC - it's a total rip-off.
and if you don't pay £24.99 we will strip some of the content from the original game too.
(removal of Weekly and Nightfall strikes for non DLC purchasers)
Not whining but you can gauge what a company thinks of it's customers by the little things of which a Christmas theme would have been one.
It doesn't make them a profit or act as a marketing tool yet most appreciate it and think positively about the experience.
But no nice Christmas theme for all the money and support they've had out of us.
Or at least an editor so the gamers can create some.
Yeah at £25 I would have probably opted for the DLC bundle but I'm not going to be ripped off with a one to one currency exchange.
Doesn't help the DLC feels so much like it's just been ripped from the original content rather than offering a new planet package.
I've enjoyed it but do feel that while there is quite an array of weapons many don't get used except for breaking up.
I think it would have been much more fun to have collected and upgraded all the green auto rifles, get a trophy, collect and upgrade all rare autos, trophy, and so forth.
There maybe 3m players still on but Ive found it harder and harder to run a raid with friends so the game is becoming redundant as there's no other items I need to collect...
Of course what it really says to Activision is they can get away with charging even more.
Why use the exchange rate when UK gamers are happy with paying $1 = £1
