I spent over 3 years playing Unreal Tournament 99, there was just so much content around back then (user made) with options to configure a game mode the way you wanted.
Even RTCW and BF1942 had a very long life due again to user created content.
Hard to imqgine seeing another game with over 10,000 (UT) maps any more. The publishers have done a great job cutting that out and getting new gamers thinking a 4 map pack DLC is big lol
Really looking forward to this game but my new GTX 970 doesnt come till Tues due to bank holiday (MGS V is bundled in as a code).

I really enjoyed Red Dead Redemption but on PS3 its one flaw was the low res textures (now theres a remake Id grab if it were offered).
These open world enviroment games look so much better with crisp high res textures and long draw distances as it feels more natural.
Never understood why it wasnt something linked in with the Tower ( and things like Grimoire cards etc).

Purchased Elder Scrolls Online for £28.75 at launch - you get the idea so £40 for an expansion with not a great deal of content is kinda way over the top.
While I won't be buying the TTK expansion due to Euro/UK pricing so its more than a new game it may well be worth deleting an existing character to level up again with the all new leveling system.
As with all things it depends on the effect, you dont want microtransactions in multiplayer games where it can have an effect on the outcome of a match.
Also worth remembering that current gen console players are paying quite a bit more compared to playing the same game on the previous gen consoles.

Auto generated matchmaking would work throughout every part of the required 3 player content but as for raids there are a number of simple solutions:
Rather than totally random there is no reason why a section of the tower couldnt be for linking player together via game screens. Players sign onto the raid of interest till the game spots are full then the game starts.
I would also remove the level limits so to keep the value of raids. ie.
why lock VoG...
I agree but wonder if the real underlying shrinkage of the PC lays at Microsofts door for just not listening to its customers regarding OS features (gaming OS etc).
I suspect they'll find some way to make it near useless........ like defaulting to mute off for each round unless you go into 3 subdirectories to find setting!
Been buying the annual PSN subsciption for quite a few years now.
On PS3 there have been plenty of great games as well as dynamic wallpapers (fish tank, Xmas, etc etc)
On PS4 however, there have been virtually no free great dynamic backgrounds, there have been fewer great free PSN games but of all the things that stands out is that if PSN is offline for any reason I cannot play any of the online games anymore as they all link to the PSN sign in.
And at none of this ridiculous PSN pricing
ie. Buy Destiny with 2 existing expansions and Taken King retail package for £34.85
(and likely get a few quid off from trading in original Destiny retail pack)
OR
buy just the Taken King expansion via PSN digital for £40

it would also be much more useful when in game that rather than just saying theres a message it puts up the message instead.
I wasnt aware the future dlc was going to be - good news, but Im still a little dissapointed that theres not more interesting stadiums in with the main game.
It is a good game but whilst the original game had pretty much the same features it did have much more interesting stadiums rather than the uniform football layout.
reading the review it would seem the lack of interesting stadiums is intentional so as to flog some DLC
No it will be be free for TTK purchasers but only available via the next DLC - that you must pay $€£40 for because its got new weapons and differently shaped armour!
