Betas are the new demos. Start paying me to test your software, Bethesda, and maybe I'll help out!
I cringe everytime someone brings up Mario into the whole 'milking' a series debate, if you can call it that.
Yes, there are a LOT of games with Mario in the title. But what do you expect? The franchise is almost 30 years old, and I'm willing to bet older than a lot of the members on this site. Your point would be valid if EVERY single Mario game in the last 30 years simply involved running from the left side of the screen to the right, and occasionally jumping. B...
Oh please, you really spent the time to look at my past comments?
I don't favor any console over each other, I may favor certain GAMES that so happen to be on another platform, yes. But that doesn't make me a fanboy. I can't even believe we're resorting to that.
I didn't say the game hasn't changed, I said it's BARELY changed. And the list of changes you listed mostly revolve around multiplayer, which as I stated in my original pos...
It's clearly going to be a prequel, but it's hard to be excited for a game that's remained virtually identical since 2007. And this is coming from someone who owns all 3 games. I'm not denying how influential the series has been on the whole duck and cover mechanic - but let's face it, games have come and gone that do it just as well, if not better. It's really just become a one trick pony where other games have taken inspiration and built upon it. Gears of War 3 faile...
Am sick of developers feeling the need to include multiplayer in near EVERY game nowadays.
I know you COULD run in and shoot people, but that was never really the focus and you know it. I don't know, I don't have the time, nor am in the right mood to really write a detailed analysis on why I personally feel this Hitman game will be a huge departure from the previous games. For better or worse, all I'm saying is this game will divide the fanbase much like RE4, and Splinter Cell: Conviciton did. Some will love the new direction, others won't.
I just d...
Not sure how anyone could possibly disagree with this, but heh..
I loved Doom 3 but this just seems rather...late, pointless and comes off as a desperate attempt to grab some cash and try to wash away the bad taste in everyone's mouths that was 'RAGE'. id Software were one of my favorite developers, have an incredible history and pioneered the FPS genre into popularity, but this is just bad.
Not to mention this doesn't really look any better than the original version, and it certainly won't look better than PC version. ...
Hitman doesn't go around confronting his enemies within point blank range and shooting up women dressed as nuns.
Nothing about this new game reminds me of the past games in the slightest. I've yet to see any kind of dark humor that made the originals so charming. This new action approach will draw in new fans and spawn a new fanbase of the series (like Resident Evil 4) but I just can't see this having the originality or creativity of past games judging from what ...
Well this just more or less confirms my original fears for this game...
Entertaining, brutal, savage, call it whatever you want - it isn't Hitman.
The embarassing thing is, the original game had a re-released 'Maximum Edition' which also came included with the great, if not better, expansion pack - Crysis Warhead.
Crysis 2's 'Maximum Edition' is nothing more than shitty multiplayer DLC that no one cares about because quite frankly, who gives a shiny shit about Crysis 2 online anymore? Much less the PC version.
Save your money and replay Crysis/Warhead. I don't care what people sa...
$12 for a sub 5 hour game. Seems fair.
It hasn't. It simply perfected the CONSOLE FPS in terms of control, grand storytelling and presentation. It's a great game and good series that's often disregarded as being one 'for the kids' due to their over population online.
*sigh*
I hope you like Unreal Engine 4 because like the one before it, expect way too many games to use it!
Cell shading pretty much ensures that the game would have aged gracefully.
Yes?
Wasn't the main character all but confirmed to be Albert DaSilva?
Whoopie...
Happy Birthday! Love the Company of Heroes franchise and am eagerly awaiting the sequel!
