So you're saying that reviewers should give a high numerical score (despite the criticisms they may have) so the publishers/developers can get a bonus? Great way to keep your integrity! (he lied...)
I DO think for myself, so does Jim Sterling. He's giving HIS opinion on the game. Sure it might not be what other people are saying, and it may not be what YOU want to hear - but tough shit. Why bother writing it if he's just going to lie?
And the double irony to your post is you mock 'Janitor' for speaking for everyone yet you do the very same in the first sentence by stating my point is not shared by the majority of people. Oh yeah? Says who...you? Oh ok. Su...
Oh please. As if there are no games out there that you really like that other people have issues with. Just because your reviews on games aren't seen by thousands of people doesn't make you any different.
What's the point in writing a review if people have already made up their mind and will instantly disregard ones opinion because it's not what they wanted to see? If you fuckers actually spent the time to READ the review as opposed to scrolling past the text and looking at the all important, all deciding numbers that determine whether or not you purchase this game, you might come to the conclusion that the reviewers issues with the game are things that would not bother you.
...
Right. Which is good. A lot of sites have been posting reviews much earlier than this. I guess my point is - it's a really good game. Stop whining.
At least they waited a bit before publishing their review to get a good idea on the game rather than trying to gain hits by being the first (like they usually do)
That's....better?
What a way to gain followers for your unknown site.
These boxarts are atrocious. Just sayin'
I'd rather the DLC be just multiplayer. That way I don't feel like I'm missing out on a complete single player experience.
I thought it had been offline for several months now! I loved MGO!
I'm still not exactly sure what the Wii-U actually IS
Holy SHIT that was awesome. I'm not really a big 'comic book guy' but damn. Makes me wish they were included in the game. Still, Max Payne 3 is my most anticipated title of the year and a follow up to one of my top 3 favorite franchises of all time - so yeah, I'm PUMPED. I hope the narrative and storytelling is as intricate and captivating as the last two games.
Resorting to remaking games just remind us how dull the new shit is.
I don't think we're going to see a crash, but rather a change in focus on the gaming medium as we know it. Think about it, gaming has changed so much in this generation alone. Catering towards a substantially larger audience, a huge focus on online multiplayer experiences and an an ever growing emphasis on mobile gaming via iPad, iPhone and Android powered devices.
I for one am boycotting the rest of this console generation (After Max Payne 3) because I simply do not like what...
Too many games this generation have too frequently aimed for realism, both in gameplay and presentation. As a result, we're getting games that have no unique visual style or charm to them. Please don't let Grand Theft Auto continue to fall victim to this trend.
So great to hear that Remedy are on the up and up.
In a word: No.
What about in Rock of Ages using the trollface? It's like that whole issue with that guy who thinks Assassins Creed is ripping off his idea. People need to start embracing this shit and stop trying to desperately grasp at straws and find ways to spin money on something. Especially when it's months/years after the fact.
Any update on the patch that's supposed to fix this pile of shit?
