Erm, I'm no businessman but just because Microsoft can waste money doesn't mean they should.
Don't think it is fair to assume a game will flop (until dawn) just because you may not like it. Impressions have been positive so far so I don't get what the problem is.
In my opinion the future isn't mixed for the PS4. It's a lot better because if you compare the 2014 lineup to the 2015 lineup, there's more games with a lot of diversity.

If it's too expensive for you then bad luck. Assuming anyone buys a 3 month deal, then it's $15 per month, you get unlimited access to Sony franchises like ratchet and clank, uncharted, god of war, infamous etc. I think that is a fair price to pay just to play over 100 different games, especially for someone like me who switched from Xbox 360 to the PS4.

Don't get your hopes up but shinobi062, who is an 'insider' has already said that it is a dedicated single player but has online elements such as co-op. Don't take my word for it though, but a lot of his predictions have been correct.
The thing is Naughty dog has two teams, one team is working on UC4 and the other is working on an unknown project (TLOU2?). I think it'd be best if they just hire other writers just like Guerrilla games hiring John Gonzalez who was the lead writer for Fallout:New vegas

Lol 13.5mil shipped is reported at the end of September. This means they do NOT account for November (which sold nearly 3mil PS4s globally in that month alone, because what kind of retailer stocks PS4s nearly 30 days in advance...) Microsoft reported they have NEARLY shipped 10mil consoles, this was announced mid November.

You're formula has flaws, how does the Xbox one sell approx 3.5-4.5mil (excludes Oct) but then the PS4 has 4-5mil (includes Oct).
