I want SquareSoft to make it, not Square Enix
Knowing SE, IF it was announced, 2013 first screenshot/video - 2020 game released
Just another reason I read the fine print of things
"Microsoft does not consider the 2-year contract Gold accounts as full Gold accounts, the 2-year accounts people signed up for to get the discounted Xbox package. If you bought one of those, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you are not a “real” Gold account according to the Rewards program. This is because you are paying for Gold at such a discounted price (promotional account)"
Socom 2
Borderlands!
Seriously I'm in the same boat with you, this gen is way over saturated with military shooters and none really bring anything new that hasn't been done yet.
I never got to play 1 too much (Even on the PS3 Sega collection) however I played the hell out of 2 and 3.
I'm so glad I WON'T be part of that crowd; I have other games that's far more deserving to play than the same rehashed garbage every year. Break records all you want, but CoD is one of those games that can easily be forgotten over time. Something like Borderlands can't.
If the old talent was to rejoin those studio's then yes release either some HD remakes or a new entry to the series; since these days all its about is DLC, $, and who can out do Halo/CoD then HELL NO and leave the games alone, let them stay in our memories where they belong.
Chrono Trigger is what introduced me to RPG's back when I was 13; Cross was "ok" but didn't set the standard
This game I will buy day 1, I'm a fan of Farcry 2 and will give this game a ton of time once its released.
If anything here's how I see the mentality of a new blogger or someone with low site hits;
"Insert Doomed Sony/PlayStation story here"
After a couple of hours - enough hits to keep the blog/site going for a few months. As much as I can't stand Xbox I welcome their competition because it makes for Sony to push out better quality games and services.
I know there's some sites (outside Wikipedia) dedicated to some chronological order of the stories and even post some side stories/spin offs in between the series of games. I'd vote to at least have more side stories and "what if" situations to help tell the story of who we are playing as.
I'd also vote to reboot the entire Zelda series with current gen technology from the first one on NES as one big, giant adventure; like they did with Mortal Kombat, a...
It's a step in the right direction for Vita/PS3 usage. Even if it fails it's still nice to see someone willing to test the waters; if it passes I can see sport games (mainly Madden and other football games) using the touchscreen to call plays.
Not a bad movie, however the game is heavily based on multiplayer, and a lot of people (Notice I didn't say everyone) are still going to flood the online and not even touch the story mode.
I wouldn't give up gaming all together, I'd just stick to the classics and not purchase anything new until physical media is an option again - IF they went fill 100% digital.
I'm waiting to by the game, with Bethesda's track record I'm waiting till they drop the price, and have patches to fix whatever is broken
How about playing both games? Both are good in their own merit; just because one is "hyped" as realistic doesn't always mean it's an overall better game.
Re balancing for the whole 5 people who still play this; I was actually upset I bought this garbage, I even took it back to the store that same day and exchanged it for something else. I'm waiting on the Namco version.
I'd kill to have Guardian Heroes added, I miss that game especially with it being 4 player beat em up AND RPG.
Fighters Megamix, Castlevania SotN Saturn version (With the added Maria playthrough), Final Fight Revenge, Snatcher, Policenauts, and Sonic Fighters would also be nice
My $30 demo came with a free movie!
I agree 100% Tales
What I find interesting, funny, and sad at the same time; majority of people whine and bitch about over saturation of fps/military shooters, yet this kind of stuff happens every year. The majority complain about how its the same rehashed game every year, how there's minimal improvements, yet when you hit high numbers like this what are you telling the companies?
If you don't like it, don't buy it. I tell people all the time ...
