I remember spending hours on Number/Word/Fraction Munchers, even through Middle School it was still addicting for pc. I also remember asking if they had it for NES and I was sad that it never made it outside the old Apple pc's. Also I remember the ctrl+open apple+reset when it locked up.

Actually, yes it is follow the leader; as you get older you don't buy something just because someone "said" to or because "it's the thing," you buy it because you want to. With CoD I've seen more kids and people under 25 waiting at midnight releases than someone my age (30+) waiting for it; no I'm not saying someone like me will not go to a midnight release and no I'm not saying adults my age and older don't wait; I'm sa...
Outside motion sickness I'd actually vote Dishonored > AC3. Yes I said it, I like it over AC3.
I've been saying that since 2009; stop buying half finished garbage, and stop thinking just because it's your favorite series you "have" to buy it; some games I wait to buy just to see some GotY edition, or at least patches that will help fix some parts of the game. Sleeping Dogs was the last game I'll buy at midnight release because of the headache I went through with some of the glitches I've ran into - and before people start dogging me on SD yes I did complete t...
I've gamed since the 80's and outside the N64, Gamecube, CD-i, Xbox, Wii, and 3DO every other console at least had some sort of make over - I don't include hand helds because that's a different market. Even Neo Geo had some sort of remake towards the end of its life. I can't speak for others like Intellivision or Odyssey because I was still a thought when those first entered the market.

This is one major reason why I hate this gen - release br...
I wouldn't doubt that, I've been told in some cases the UK players were worse depending on the game than US players. Like I said earlier though I can only speak from what I experienced; I'm currently only on the PS3 and I know that plays some part in the experience, however I did play an MMO (Final Fantasy 11) with all types of people whether on console or pc, EU, JP, and US and again it was positive outside the occasional morons.
I've only had minimal experience playing with UK players and yes it was a positive experience; however I've talked with people who swear NEVER to play with them on any online game because of their "we're better than everyone" attitude.
Other European players I've had mixed experiences; women love us and men hate us...
His point is people buy into the hype of CoD, then bitch and complain because of how broken the online is. I'm one of the many who refuse to buy anything CoD related; one reason because the PS3 versions always get some sort of shaft at the end, and "if" they do fix it the damage has already been done.
From a personal experience with GTA dated back from 1 on the original PS1, I'd say play at least 3, then Vice City, then San Andreas, and skip 4. The problem with 4, it's a more serious tone than just having fun and random activities. If you do decide to play GTA 4, be prepared to do a lot of side missions you do not care to do; I don't want to spoil what they are just in case. If you do find the time to play 3, that's the start of how it went 3D, then Vice City is the begi...
Not that I agree or disagree, but I enjoyed the previous GTA games under 2-3 months.
I refuse to buy any Activision game in general, new or used (I know they get $0 from used sales but still it's the principle).
I'm having more fun playing Borderlands 2 than Call of Crack (and refuse to buy it even used); and I've already talked to someone who sold their copy of Black Ops 2, with 2 others actually thinking about it.

My problem with The Bee is it requires full shield and certain weapons to even do high amounts of damage; and now it's another shield that will be sold for inventory space. Some of the mission/quest fixes I do like, however nerfing certain weapons and armor just because a few people whine about it doesn't help balance the game; just makes people find something new to chase after and overuse.
If gearbox is reading this, fix the freaking drop rate of heads from Henry...
I like the idea it's up to the developer, because that way people can play how they want, without some sort of "checklist" to verify they played the game.
I still see achievements/trophies as a way to make bad games somewhat playable; and good games ruined because instead of playing for story and fun factor they're played just to get someones e-peen bigger.
If you need some sort of "electronic pat on the back" to play a game, you're not a gamer. I'm sorry to say it like that but it sickens me to see all these kids whine about lack of achievements/trophies in games; there's games I'd rather play if they had 0 scores to it. Why? Because I grew up on gaming that the incentives were built in the game itself with its own rewards; Tekken 3 being a big example going for Dr Bosconovich as a playable character - however most ...
I've gamed before achievements/trophies, and will continue to game even after they're long gone.
I'd vote no MP what so ever, even as a tack-on or "extra;" Single Player only without co op or some typical MP component.
Also if possible have an easier way to complete 3 with Sheppard alive (I know there's one way to however it's harder to complete) and continue with his story; It'd be nice to see him through another fight.
I actually liked Dragons Dogma despite it's a walking simulator - but still a fun game, I was almost done with second play through when I started getting into Kingdoms of Amluar (sp) and never found the time to revisit.
Back in the 90's, you mention Capcom and a game sold just on that name alone; and the arcades had about 80% of their games (outside just Street Fighter), however now it's games that have on-disc content and having to pay twice for what you should a...
