Me too lol. Played it a few years ago and loved it, one of my favorites. I wish there were more like it.
While MS has always relied on 1 or 2 thoroughbreds Sony has always had a stable. From everything I've seen TF it's a solid 8-9/10 game, is that worthy of the hype?...Don't think so.
I call bs, no way can you beat it in 6, don't even think in a speed run.
I don't get the point of making games into movies. There's nothing positive I could walk away from with a movie adaptation that I didn't get from the game.
I enjoyed an awesome 14ish hour interactive experience, a 2 hour movie could only leave me disappointed.
Nah, I took it as they want to make smaller Indy-type games on PSN/XBLA and hopefully PC too. Which it's good, we need these types of games, not everything should be AAA.
So it's not a goodbye, but it's unfortunate to see people laid off. At least he's giving the employees a heads up, they are a talented bunch and shouldn't have trouble finding work I hope.
Zampella was on KFI 640am giving an interview and hyping up TF last night. When asked how much involvement EA has in the game, Zampella said they're there every day and highly involved.
Funny how they went with EA to get away from this with Activision and now it's the same thing but from EA. It was a pretty good interview, I don't have any link to it, but if you search for it I'm sure it's out there.
Well the Respawn crew are underachievers. They've never been known for their coding and technical abilities. COD4 was their only great game and even that was riddled with bugs. They were always lazy with the PS3 version of COD and never really tried to fix COD4 hacks and glitches that are still there.
They got lucky with the COD formula and are still using the same exact one with another ancient engine. This had nothing to do with the XOne's abilities, but rather Respawn's...
BC is too volatile to ever be a widely used currency. Vendors need stability in a currency, not fluctuations of hundreds of dollars.
It's not a ponzi scheme but BC can be manipulated by a big investor. The only way to make BC a legitimate currency is to regulate it, which defeats the purpose of it.
It's one of those things we all wish we could have gotten in on at the beginning, but right now it's to risky.

It's never good for any business to shut down. That means less jobs, less money in the local economies, more unemployment, bigger state and federal deficits.
About the employees, most are gamers, and just like the population here, there are fanboys in every bunch. It doesn't mean the whole company should go out of business.
I don't think vita digital sales are tracked, which many people buy over physical copies for vita games.

Nintendo, I'm coming home. I haven't owned a Nintendo system since the Wii and NDS. I was sorely disappointed with the Wii though. This weekend I'll be picking up a 3DS as the library is now huge, and I'll look forward to a WiiU maybe next year when that library is established.
Anyone have any recommendations of 3DS must have games? I don't really care about the genre as long as it's good.
@TomShoe, couldn't have said it better, "rewarding stupidity". That's what our society has become, rewarding people who make stupid decisions so we can all be "equal". Well, we aren't equal and the sooner society in general realizes that village idiots like this guy shouldn't get help, then the better off we'll all be. How much you want to bet this guy is on welfare of some sort as well?
I'm thankful for my family and to have a decent job in these hard times.
What killed the game for me were the character models. Crytek should have made more instead if the same ones over and over. You'll have multiple characters on screen at times that are identical dress, size and face. For me that really ground my gears.

@Lol_wut, we're probably seeing what happens when more people go online. Remember Pikmin 3 just came out and a lot of people are probably playing right now being that it's payday for a lot of folks and the weekend. I'm not sure if there was a big sales spike worldwide, but if there was there is also that big day one patch that had to be downloaded.
