Don't drop it, dents far easier than previous iPhones / iTouch models.
The absoluitely hilarious thing is if you're a PS3 gamer with a decent PC, you're already able to play most of these (4/5 titles). Let us not forget that Microsoft has this tendency to claim exclusive (on a console) and then relase it for a PC in the following months.
To be honest, the only playstation games I can recall doing this are Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2, and final Fantasy 7 and 8. There are probably more, but I'm willing to bet that list is far shorter than Microsofts. ...
Open source would undermine the entire ideology behind the XMB.
Remeber, they started using it in the PSP and in other Sony products to standardize menu interfaces across all their products. The minute it's made opensource that means that standard and uniformality gets shattered. Remember, it's not like it doesn't get updated and what could you seriously need to add or take away to justify having it open source.
It's a great list and I'm glad to own 5/6 of those (Planscape torment is 4 CDs... massive at the time)
Remember, these are games that will run on any computer out there. Also remember it's the writers list, not a difinitive list.
What chip revision are we onto now for the 360? Isn't this getting a bit much?
As far as we all know, the PS3 is on CELL chip number 2.
They are very much so whoring out to the masses.
Seriously, unfortunately it seems a half-assed console is now trying to tout itself as 'the sh1t' when it's already had 3 major set backs: 1) Harddrives, 2) Red Rings, 3) Failed with HD.
Is it so hard to believe that it's a decent game? Maybe not the best game out there, but decent overall?
Given that this was a 360 review I'm intersted in seeing if these graphical issues happen on the PS3. The multi disk thing sucks. It's like the end of the Playstation era for the 360... three years in.
Is this really part of what we have to lookforward to doing?
Smells of Guildwars.
If it wasn't a problem in the first game, I doubt it's going to be an issue in THE THRID GAME TO USE IT.
Given that Guerrilla Games is found in the Netherlands, I don't think it's that big of a deal or that they have worked something out. Also the typical logo found in Norwegian post is different and the same one as the Swedens Posten.
I find this statement: "China now claims 15 of the world's 500 fastest computers. That make it the top-ranking supercomputing country outside the United States, Western Europe and Japan," akin to saying I have the biggest penis on an island of women. Because last time I checked, there wasn't a huge demand for super computers in Africa.
Pah! I was able to get roughly 45 FPS at high/max settings using a stock GeForce 260 and AMD Phenom 9550 + 4GB RAM @ 1920x1200. And it cost $1300.
This is just over-kill. All the game needs is optimization.
It's Net Flix. It's not able to operate in Canada so it has to be pulled, and so the entire system has to be changed for Canada only. Really it's just sad that for as much as they shout inclusion with the 360, there is a lot exclusion still happening.
FIAL on you NXE, FIAL.
Why is this suddenly news? This is something that was discoved a year ago.... Here's the blog on it too:

It's number 5. It talks about all the inuendo.
Take into consideration that many times in Japan, when something new/updated is released there's a large segment of the population that just upgrades. This does not actually reflect potential new users, but rather users who want to replace their DS lite. The best guage of new users would be to see if older games sell more or if newer games sell more.
This isn't the first time, check the stats from last year when the PSP-2000 was released, you'll see a spike in sales too.
I like how his main arguement for the claim that the PSP and DS are out is because the iPhone has 'real 3D games'. Wow that's killer. I think he needs to do some research using his new iPhone before he stumbles into a realm where he's going to get eaten.
Seriously, read his entire quote and try to spot where he makes a valid arguement over an invalid vague statement. Litterally, it's talking points. Weak talking points.
The lancer has to be the worst desgined assualt rifle EVER.
If you even tried to fight a rabbit with that thing, you'd get pnwed. Hardcore pwned.
Since the Quadro FX 5800 is based on the G200 chips, it technically does kick around crysis a little. The G200s do handle Crysis just fine with moderate tweaking. Hell my stock PC with a 260 didn't get any low frame rates.
Writers need to do a lot more thinking and reseach before posting potential flamebait on the internetwebs. I read the pre-updated version and did think about pricing issues (because it's not hard to set MS Pts. pricing as it is regional pricing for the PS3).
I'm glad they corrected themselves, but some damage has been done. As an aside, I think it's silly to be selling weapon upgrades... They're just really milking things now. Shame EA, shame.
That entire list got pwned by the #1. That's an epic call made by the author of the article.
Did not see that coming at all. But it's got a good point to it.
Just remember that DS users are getting older each year. Remember that in comibination with hardware, software should be checked as well.
If the DS is selling 100000 units a week and only 50000 games in the same time, something's a miss.
