Fools. MKV is an open source format. It's nearly impossible to supply a codec to run all verisons. Every few months it changes and becomes more of a complex beast.
And further more, a majority of people aren't going to download things to watch on the PC and move it to the PS3 to watch.
It seems less broken when you sucker people in to paying up to 1200 MS pts. for 125 pts in achievements. This people, is how you barely extend the life of a game, a broken game.

Historically Sony has always set themselves appart from everyone else via ad campaigns. Look back to the early PS2 ads and that never ever hampered their sales.
Notice how very few people actually create major discussion on 360 and Wii Ads? Only sony has managed to get people talking about things because the ads are vauge and demand discussion.

Honestly I only get used freaken old games which can't be bought for new. and if most of us aren't getting the used games at high prices, then the arguement of used game sales cutting into dev profits would be moot.
However, his used Car idea sounds awesome. Lets convince publishers and devs to take back their old used games for new ones!

By 2010, Nintendo will have over saturated the market, kids will have grown up and the Wii ananomly will collapse on itself as the creation of interesting games over shovelware will be out of ballance.

Remember, just because you can transmit information quickly, doesn't mean it can be processed as quickly. SD cards and the like have really low transfer speeds. I can't see this replacing HDMI at all, and who knows what kind of interfearence it's going to be recieving / inducing.
It'll be amazing if even half it's capacity is used practically.

Lets be 100% honest, anything that's a Microsoft exclusive turns into a PC game eventually, sure it takes more time but it gets there. Very rarely are there games that Microsoft doesn't get put onto Windows as well (it's other XBox).
Over all depending on the release length it can be an expansion (typically six months to a year) or DLC (practically a week to a few months). Also the quality and function make a difference for me. So long as the original experience / game doesn't ...
