Really? This is all they have going for them now? 1/5th of the List was prior Nintendo owned games. The others were mostly PC ports / previously PC only games.
I would think that OXCGN would have higher and more creative aspirations instead of Sequel: the game; Part XII. Even still, the sequels they want are from games that are kinda meh at best (Theif Aside). Didn't BK:NB get high billing prior to it's release?
IMHO, this list is mostly full of fail... Halo 4 j...
A well deserved Salvo back at those childish rants.
I wonder if Sony / PSN has the same or similar policy. I wonder who we can ask.
My humanistic side agrees. He's a person with an ailment.
However my logical side wants to know if Steve Jobs dies, does apple die too? If your company stock drops 6% (perhaps) due to your health that's a little scarry. (Then again, it dropped when 4Chan started a rumor as well)
You know, that's a smart thing they did. It means you can lose your enemies and not have them cheat and know where you are all the time.
Either way, this game looks to hold a well of prmoise for being good.
I think the Frist person aspect is required for immersion purposes. It's not as effective to be watching everything over someone's shoulder like a ghost when you can best be in that person's shoes.
Don't argue this editorial. It's coming from an 'old codger' of video games. He's far biased towards the 360 and just likes to make hay. His opinions on the PS3 are moot and his backing of the 360 is also as moot since for someone carrying the 360 water he's not a very intimate 360 player. His record speaks for itself.
We have to remember for the most part that the gaming landscape has changed. If you want achivements / trophies / online then you're going to have to sacrafice any method of cheating or having an advantage.
Cheates have made way for unlockables (starting with weapon X or unlimited levels) not to mention that since most games don't have Healt meters anymore (auto recovery) there's a lack of a reason to cheat since you do have unlimited health.
It's give and take ...
All I can say is welcome to 1994 again. Seriously, even the original Wipeout is far better than this. Port that to the iPhone.
And I believe 'Speed Racer' is trademarked or something, so best of changing the title to 'Speedy Racer'.
If this is the best imitation that the iPhone devs can muster, then the DS and PSP are laughing all the way to the bank.
So let me get this all sorted out; The iPhone is the best iPod apple made, and people touted it as a great phone... yet now it's being marketed as a hand held console?
Why is the purpose of the iPhone being changed every six months? I'm beginning to think that the iPhone is very much confused and in a year the overall marketing for it will be failed.
Imho, it's one of the markets weakest and overly expensive gaming device. Putting a better processor in it just o...
When a 7 hour video game was way too short. Even if it had replay value... and if a game was 14 hours (even with story elements interlaced throughout it) seemed way too long.
Where is this sweet spot then? this estimated 10 hours? And how many hours will be whittled away with multiplayer and co-op.
IMHO the game as is (vanilla) is very, very disappointing in the capping and how the main story plays out. It's unfortunate that Bethesda decided to try out the DLC money train, but sadly this is expected given that they've moved onto consoles.
I await the massive huge full package for the PC, how long I wait is unknown...
Alright people, looks like this gen is over. Pack it up and wait for the next gen / round of consoles.
Get this kid 400 CCs of real friends and 25 liters of real life STAT!
All this and more to be followed by ReDumdency for Dummies. Seriously, you need a Seduku for dummies, as if the instructions were not simple enough or the concept? Doesn't Brain Training for dummies reveal your actual intelligence level before you even start the game?
This XXXX for Dummies books have to really stop. Life is trial and error, not made with a manual.
Now now, lets remember that irregardless, Sony is still able to push a $400 console and make as much money from that as Microsoft did (go on, go do the math. the assumption is that the 360 is selling at about 150/200 per unit).
It's when the PS3 is only selling 10K units a month and the 360 is selling 300K, then you can make claims. Until then I bet 360 sales and Wii Sales will drop over the next year.
Someone needs to smack him around for blasphemy. ALL GAMING STOCKS FELL. EA is down to $15 and change from being at $48 at the start of September. Activision Blizzard followed the same trend and they have WoW still making them money. Clearly this has not just 'god' at work but rather the economics of recession.
Someone please take his soap box away and give endsights a good smacking around for not doing their research.
The Fact that people are still buying the $400 PS3 and the $60-70 games to go with it shows there's still a viable market for the PS3 and that ever so important installbase is growing.
Remeber that with the Wii console sales don't always equate to games being sold as well, hell if anything the Wii has been poison to some developers given the 'shovelware' out on the market for it.
NONE THE LESS, we are all aware that the longer Home was going to be running the more likely it was going to degrade into the XBL voice chat experience. I think it's a smooth move for them to stop it now before it progresses.
Just because you can't always be a prick in public, doesn't give to the right to do so in Home (which is still a public place)
But... but what about Boom Blox! Damn old people just want to box each other and not do anything else creative.
