*sigh*
According to the analyitcal logic that MTV used, Barak also called out; Failure at reading, TV (no shock there), Homework and programs and systems.
He may or may not have also called out on dinner. More indepth research will come up with an answer.
So does the meer mention of 'game' bring about the basis for videogame articles?
Someone has to move on from that box called pre-1999. There are just some people who cannot shed the ways of the past and move into the future or co-exist with the new people of the present.
There are times we should look ahead and see what's there waiting and there are times when we have to look back and remember what was there.
*sigh*
Did they ask too much to do the rolls? There is absolutely no reason for this, but reason enough no to bother with a game that's taken nearly a decade (or is it more) to be released.
A shame and an upset Blizzard.
That is... until you get paid to play.
Think about, won't you?
Yeah as thought the sales increase probably won't directly translate into a increase in play. As 1.1 showed, bought it just because it was cheap and as other people have said, the first people to be playing L4D are not pleased with the new people playing L4D.
It'll be interesting to see if the release numbers on the increase in players.
Gabe has a lot of flaws in his thinking. All this works on the assumption that A) everyone is using a PC and B) everyone has decent internet.
Price chaning annoys me and typically if it's too costly instore, I move to online (amazon, ebay in a pinch) to get games. Typically it becomes a waiting game and I don't always like feeling burned that I paid or waited a long time for a cheaper price. There are other avenues to explore.
63 'updates' makes TF2 look like a v...
Holy crap chill out. If you actually took the time to read the full interview, you'd know they broke up his response and have altered it to sound like something else entirely.
Overall, addressing his reply, he didn't state how or why (or it's not written) Eastern developers have to catch up. Thinking about it what he said, it's just a broad, vague statement, leaving no insight or even a hint of how to correct the 'problem'.
I honestly see nothing wrong with East...
Either way it's a great read and worth consideration. Maybe Dave Sirlin should take on gaming then.
It's a graphical eyesore. I'm sick and tired of hack bloggers jumping online thinking they know everything and anything to know about decent design.
Design is not taking everything you like and throwing it together. Good design is taking what you need and seeing to it that it all works cohesively and functionally.
Me thinks the art department has been stuck on WoW for way too long.
It's looking like StarCraft is losing it's unique artistic look in favour of WoW esque bland modifications. They are an improvement, but it all looks way to similar to the WarCraft Universe.
10 pts for dodging the ussue.
Note how he doesn't mention that in deadspace, when aiming you move slow, and everything else is super fast. Lack of ammo wasn't typically the problem, lack of hitting things accurately wasting ammo was and getting mobbed was a serious problem in most of the game. See Dead Space went beyond Resident Evil and it should be playing catch-up.
Are they still spinning numbers? Remember the poor math from a few weeks back, about how they were responsible for 99% of the industry growth? Yes they do have a portion of it, but it's no where near as they're trying to make it out to be.
Apparently all the brain trining doesn't allow for slightly more complex math equasions. Someone find all the numbers and work them out, lets stop letting Nintendo do the math.
Every DLC release makes the original game seem more and more incomplete. I keep wondering 'why couldn't this be included in the game?'
Wait, apple is really trying to market the iTouch as a gaming device?... for children? Since when do parents have $150-200 to spend on little jonny 6 years old for his new iTouch when he's probably got a DSLight already.
I don't think apple has all the pieces in the right place about this.
Wow, justification as to why I can hate the rest of humanity. Thank-you Google for being that idiot filter / exposure machine.
Popularization of the cover system; yes it did do that. Did it innovate it? No, not really.
The article left out Uncharted's cover system which has this little unique feature of having it crumble away over time, or Nathen reacting to being shot at, or I recall a number of times, being out flanked / forced to find new cover.
Credit where credit is due for sure, but make sure you credit everyone for their part. Will be interesing to see how Uncharted 2 takes on th...
HOWEVER, they only typically give you a good tradein on games that are about 6 months old. Other than that, you get teh shaft and practically pennies for your year old games.
I think it's good they're trying to explain themselves, but they're not explaining other aspects, such as the actual value of the typical trade in. Another thing is that they are profiting in cash when someone goes to buy a used game with cash, by a lot because people who did use credit know that using th...
If you look over scores and group them, No PS3 game has ever gotten a 9 from edge. Yes LBP got a 10, but that's the highest scoring game for the PS3 in edge's opinion.
On the 360 side, yes only Halo 3 got a 10, but any other big 360 exclusive got a 9.
Yeah I have one which I don't use mainly because people in MGO are ignorant and don't pay attention anyways, so I'd rather not waste my time or breath.
Bah!!! American Kids only.
