It would more than likely end up being a clone of The Witcher is it was given to CDPR. To be honest Telltale was probably the best at the time for a GoT game. Game of Thrones is very much dialogue driven and action should take a backseat to it in any game based on the series.
Content warnings like that have always existed... People just make fun of it more because of things like trigger warnings.
They have an event right before E3 so they're technically not there, but people are not wrong in what they're trying to say. Basically during the E3 period more will be revealed about the game is the general message.

Frostbite criticism likely wasn't a big topic back then but I think development started around a similar time Respawn was acquired? Perhaps they just explained they could create a better product with EU4 rather than starting from scratch and learning to use a new engine. To be fair its understandable as to why they would rather use Frostbite in most cases because of the cut Epic takes.
