@Belking
Worldwide the PS3 continues to outsells the 360 on a weekly basis, by about 40k. Xbox's lead in the US (which is about 10k now) means very little in the greater scheme of things. Sony is winning where sales are concerned.
Mariokart 8 set my hopes to high for how this game will look :(
Forza looks better, get over it people. Sony's evolution studio have never worked on this kind of title before, Driveclubs underwhelming visuals (based on reports) is likely due to that.
I get the sentiment but microsoft and sony are very close in terms to launch line ups.
Killzone looks like a more meaty experience than anything at microsofts booth, but microsoft titles do have more of a wow factor (ryse, Dead rising). I can't see forza and driveclub being worlds apart other than forza's more glossy look and driveclubs more social focus. Also remember the ps+ version of drive club has content cut, so it being "given away" does not mean it won't ...
wait, so is cloud computing more demanding than rendering and streaming entire games through servers?
Why would anyone doubt this. Surely rendering and streaming an entire game is more demanding then computing tiny sections of it.
The Sun is not a reliable source for anything.
@gameonbro
lol, Sorry but there is no such thing as word of bad mouth. Word of mouth simply means information being passed between people, whether its negative or positive doesn't actually matter.
I hope they manage to incorporate the bloom effects seen in the PC version. Without the game looks a bit bland.
They've been the most loved since 2010 :)
Hell no, make FFXV and make it well. Then move on to FFXVI
Japan doesn't like consoles anyway.
Urrggh, this is so tacky.
Better than nothing. Its kind of hard to offer a free game on day one.}
I think we will see a lot of small indie titles for the first year of PS4's Instant game collection. No developer can afford to give away a AAA next gen exclusive game for free, not when the user base is so tiny.
Graphics are flawless, best on display. Gameplay looks suspicious, like an on rails QTE :/
AI seems terrible, combat sluggish. Not very next gen.
Very little I assume, which is kind of his point. Do devs really want to spend a ton of time simply getting a game to run on said hardware? I assume they'd rather spend that time making the actual game/tweaking the gameplay.
It depends though, how many assets will they be able to reuse. If ND can create an entire uncharted game in 2 years, a good team can create a sequel for PASBR in 12-16months months.
If they announce it I think we will ingame footage.
I think they should have gone the PowerStone direction. IS it too much to hope a potential sequel takes a u-turn in the combat?
@Gman0174
I meant Xbox 360's lead on a weekly basis is about 10k in the US, which isn't that significant.
