Some people just want a replacement console, some just want to play a handful of exclusives and others who are this late to the game probably isn't concerned about the digital future.
LOOOOL
I was about to ask how earth is it still selling when it hasn't had a western release since 2010. Oh well, I guess Sony's still profiting from the hardware sales.
Its not their responsibility to spend money on ill advised ports.
Its sega's fault and sega's alone.
Sega should have put this on the PSVita and PS3. Seeing as Beyonetta 2 is coming out shouldn't they worry about porting the first game to the wii U?
No, but getting closer
Impressive graphics do not equate to mass effect. Of course gameplay comes first, but seeing as it is a "next gen" game, surely we shouldn't really have to choose. But I shouldn't probably wait to get a better look at the gam before judging its visuals.
Still waiting for that next gen graphical leap.
Fingers crossed for a summer 2014 launch, but I could see it not arriving until next noveber when the ps4/X1 have built up a strong userbase. I kinda hope they cancel the current gen versions lol
lol, guys "FY end mar 2015" means fiscal year ending march 2015, which means the game will can come any point between april 2014 and march 2015. This was pretty much expected.
My guess is on summer 2014.
Funny because I was just speaking to my brother about games that I would buy for $100. they included entries in the elderscroll series, Mass Effect, Zelda and Final Fantasy. Theres definitely a correlation between how much I'm willing to pay and the familiarity of the franchise. The length of the game is also rather important.
$60 isn't really that much for adults, especially when you think about what games provide you. For experiences I'm really excited for, play...
Please no more ports.
The pokemon franchise has had really strong core RPG gameplay but my god they've taken the piss with their reluctance to push things forward. Now they're tryna sell us things that should has been present in 2007.
And it works well in context of the game. You don't get it till near the and there are still plenty of situation where it can be used, like when guys are shooting you from afar.
does sonic even sell itself?
And just dance is more likely to sell the xbox and wii then it is to sell the Wii U.
NintendoDirects are Echo chambers which only reach their core audience and having a demo for the game isn't gonna help sell the system because only people who already have a wii u will be able to play it.
I don't think this game will give thw Wii U a big sales boost but it actually has broader appeal then Pikmin and the whole concept and humour would be very sellable to kids. Hopefully Nintendo give it some decent marketing this september.
of course not.
People really over estimate the size of that franchises fanbase.
I don't understand, we've all already seen the game in action. Why spew this nonsense?
They're either lying or demonstrating how great their engine is at destroying HQ assets.
Fuck you square enix!
I'm surprised anyone would disagree with this. Simply being present at launch means your game is more likely to garner attention and attain a stronger fanbase. Especially for multiplayer games where community is a big deal!
I think being next gen would of helped with the visual too, which I think is a big part of this games downfall. Visually it just doesn't work, but tons of particle effects and next gen models etc would have distracted from the weak artstyle.
Its such a small amount that I assume it actually serves some logistical purpose as opposed to mcirosoft actually trying to "compete" with sony.
Games running at the Vita Native resolution look great actually, but it could benefit from being a bit higher at 720p. The problem is that Upping the res at which games run is would required even more beefed up specs. Most games on the Vita don't even run at its native resolution, so clearly the hardware isn't equipped to deliver detailed graphics in HD.
