You can always get into the art departments. 2D Art, textures, 3D models, animations.
Alot of the software you can get for free as part of a educational license, then from there you start looking up video tutorials. the best tutorials require you buy them, but there are always ways around that *cough* torrent * cough*
The demo is great! The game is easy to pick up and play and its exciting to find new magic, but I can't see the game getting any deeper then that. The story is random dribble, the voice acting is pretty bad, the world isn't cohesive, the battle arena's are bland and recycled. It survives off its combat which is great fun and the magic is brilliant. 7.7 seems about right to me, seeing as its only $40 mayb they could bumped it up to a mid 8.
If you're the sort o...
Halo 5 is like 2/3 years away though, I'm sure microsoft want a killer app out as soon as possible. Its also just something that would generate a lot of hype. I can imagine them advertising it "From the creators of Call of duty..." That would really resonate with a lot of uninformed gamers.
Edit: There is also scope for variety in terms of Sci-Fi shooters. You could consider Metroid Prime a sci-fi shooter... I love sci-fi but don't really care for Halo, the...
Microsoft has a lot of money. The only reason why things aren't exclusive is because multiplatform = more sales/ money.
Microsoft will compensate for the sales lost from it only being released on one next gen platform. Even then the exclusivity may only be timed.
No not really. It showcases how amazing art design can compensate for outdated tech.
PC build Grafix. Simple.
I'm pretty sure these are pics from the next-gen version.
Sony would waste money porting Epic Mickey but would not port and localise FFType0 to Vita -_-
Power is very much a significant part of the equation. From 3rd party support, to enticing early adopters and generally validating the existence of your system. But software is always king but sometimes theres a correlation with power, see 3rd party support. If you opt out of a huge graphical leap you must replace it with another USP, the problem is no one see's the wii U pad as a great USP.
Also theres a much higher abundance of quality software on Sony's platfform b...
I'm sure thats just reinforces that the tech inside is rather dated technology...
I'm sure nintendo has given them plenty, hence the exclusivity.
I'd say only a vocal minority treated it like a crime and demanded it be redone.
The rest of us were just disappointed.
@Nevers0ft
That would still weaken sales across all platforms.
The Wii U for obvious reasons (no marketing)...
PS3 and 360 because we would have seen full reviews 6 months prior to the august release. The hype would have died down, late ports never get as much attention a brand new titles.
Optimum sales= simultaneous release+marketing push across all systems.
Becuase it would weaken the sales of the game if they had to split the marketing budget.
Final Fantasy XII, Tekken Tag, DMC collection
As awesome as versus XIII looked I wouldn't mind too much as long as the new FF they show looks good. E3's not the last hope for it though, TGS is still a fairly big
$399 and only one SKU
yeah, it was a pretty underwhelming tech demo but then I guess thats because they aimed to demo something very achievable. I think the Infiltrator demo is the more ambitious," maybe we'll see games like this in a few years" tech demo. The elemental demo is what we will see developers achieving day one.
"To each his own"... I'm sure Mika was just explaining her personal preference. If Nintendo could improve in one department would be diversifying in their 1st party portfolio, with all the money they made off the wii they could invest in new studios.
Sonys problem is quantity and the fact that all their best teams work on consoles only whereas Ninteno's go between console+handheld hence the universal quality control. Almost everything release on the Vita has...
I think GT6 will come to the ps4 too. I expect it to be released spring 2014 for both ps3 and ps4.
