I thinks its easy to miss why this would be hardware intensive, the most impressive stuff is actually on going at the button with the
crumbling platform. The weapon effects and explosion are nice but aren't that special IMO, thats probably what most people are looking at.
Since this was targeted for fall 2014 I hoping it would be next gen exclusive. Oh well, the next gen version looks pretty enough
I don't like external solutions, so hopefully a 120GB Wii U is available in the not too distant future.
THe 12GB PS3 is entirely optional, so you have no point.
why are people so narrow minded when it comes to applications motion control and similar technology. Voice commands can streamline a lot of processes. Like being able to equip a specific weapon or spell in a game like skyrim on the fly instead of having to pause the game and scroll through a selection of text.
I'm replaying final fantasy VII right now and the more materia you find and harder it is to find the skill you're trying to use as they as they get lost in the ...
I don't think its anything to do with space. Its clear the Vita version was the last on their priority list with it being announced mere months from launch. I assume they didn't have time to port+ optimising everything. I think this admission is forgivable. it would be nice to make the speed runs available for download at a later point, even its at a minor fee seeing as the Vita version is $15 cheaper.
Yeah, not complaining. So many devs budget their games unrealistically and then complain they can't make a profit of 2m sales.
@Belking I guess I should have made the humour more obvious.
The character models and animation look a bit weak, but the environments look stunning. Can't wait!.
The Wii U, PS4 and PSVita would all be great platforms for Okami 2.
lol @ 8GB HDD inside a controller. Flash memory would be used for such a small size, but I agree sony could have easily put apple out of business!
You mean Scanning?
I don't think we'll need the same poly count to give the illusion of this level of detail. I'm sure they'll develop plenty of tricks to mimick it :)
Yeah, I'll buy one in 2014 for sure. To be honest I could buy one this year for pikmin and 101 but I'm on a budget, I'll probably get a 3DS instead and theres a handful of game Vita games I want to pick up (Tearaway and FFXHD)
hopefully we get models which look this convincing on the ps4/x1 a few years from now.
Not really but I feel mad at myself for considering one just to play winwaker, a game I've already beat twice
To want a pokemon on your phone is similar to wanting dedicated hanheld gaming to die.
loool, imagine!
The 2DS does not appeal to the same audience that is interested in a Vita.
I'm kind of annoyed they downed its score for value. 10-15 hours for a platformer is great, the fact that $39.99 just makes the deal even better.
I guess everyone wants some sort of online component nowadays... sigh.
