CT managed to pull off a deep story on the SNES for God's sake.
Xenogears is a very deep RPG that hooks you as soon as you start playing.

But yeah, IMO COD W@W is better. I think it gets downgraded because its another WW2 related title. But hey, it's a very good one.
LBP isn't actually up for studio of the year, Media Molecule is. I suppose you can count it, but the actual game can't win it.
Best soundtrack is the other one, and personally I think it's going to go to LBP because every song sets the mood of the level. I personally enjoyed the My Patch song.
Yep, it is hard. I find myself contemplating that when a big multiplatform game comes out. I usually buy mutiplayer focused games for 360 and single player focused games for PS3.
I caved in and bought Fallout 3 for 360, though. I wanted to have the version with slightly better visuals. I don't have a very good gaming computer, so 360 won my purchase. Even though the differences are slight, that game is beautiful. I wanted the best version I could get.

MGS4 as a whole, deserves GOTY. If you take out the story, no it doesn't. But you can't ignore the story, so I really think it deserves GOTY. Mass Effect was praised for its' story telling ability. Let the PS3 have it's glory game for once.

While R2 has pretty good MP, it's not the best IMO. Personally I think it's between L4D, COD 5, and Gears 2(when it actually works) for multiplayer. Actually, even LBP should be a contender before R2. It's a community focused game afterall. It's very enjoyable to go through user-created levels with friends.
R2 MP does its' job, but there are other good games out there that do it better.

Gears 2 will probably win best multiplayer and best Xbox 360 game(maybe shooter). Game of the year and best graphics should go to MGS4 and if you count it as a shooter(a very stealthy shooter), it should also win that.

Yeah, when I first saw the caves I was surprised. So much detail and the colors really stand out. It didn't give me a depressed feeling like the first game's caves did.
