HOME doesn't completely suck. It's a starting ground, like they have told us. Don't expect the holy grail. It'll grow, believe me, it has major potential.
Not everybody downloaded the leak. My cousin brought his hard drive over when I was working to download marketplace stuff because for some reason he thought he could connect on my Xbox, totally not the case.
So yeah, I've been deprived of LIVE for 2/3s of the month for the idiocy of my cousin.

The XMB was around before the PS3. The PSP, and numerous Sony Ericsson phones have used some form of it.

The whole interface is very clean. I have to admit some features are buried, but overall everything is nice and fast. I do like how they managed to incorporate the blades into the guide. Very smart, since not everyone will enjoy the transition. It's nice to know the blades are still there.

HOME is bare bones right now. Things you can do? Run around mindlessly looking for something to do. They haven't added the good stuff yet. It's eye candy, that's about it right now.

Yeah, it's too late to sign up. Although you can install the leaked version, which will disable LIVE until tomorrow. Depends on what you what to test drive. Installations are a plus, and you can do that offline. Other than that, it's pretty much the same except a new interface.

Back peddle my comment? My friend, it's VERY possible to be able to see that Blu-ray is NOT breaking any records. It's doing great, but right now it's quite expensive. People can't put trust in such a expensive format during this recession. Me? I own only 7 Blu-ray movies, I want more, but between all the games this holiday, I probably won't have any extra money for Blu-ray, except The Dark Knight.

I'm not against Blu-ray, I'm just stating facts. I've been for Blu-ray ever since I heard about the space and online capabilities.
I was trying to get across how dumb these "Blu-ray death" articles are. Everything I said is true, and pretty much represent what these articles say, but I went one step further and explained that once mass market picks up, Blu-ray will thrive.
